 He's a lot stronger than most of his opponents at point guard. So that gives him a big advantage, and he's quick to the ball.  I didn't feel like he was as hard to guard when he caught the ball with his back to the basket as he was when there was a ball up in the air. He's so long, he's so big. He's gotten a lot stronger, I can tell, from last year.

 Well, it's something we've been constantly on Chris about and he's taken advantage. When he's shooting the ball the way he is shooting it, it's tough for teams because they still have to go out and guard him from 17 feet, and he is just so quick.

 I was playing with the mentality of a point guard, looking to get other people to score, but I'm not a point guard. When I get the ball, it's coming to me to score. I just wasn't being aggressive. I lost confidence so I didn't think I could make shots. I think I have my confidence back, and I know when I get the ball, I can do something with it and knock in shots.

 It happened pretty quick. He got the ball up, kept the ball over the plate. They took advantage of it.

 He just kept the ball down all day. [He] got a lot of ground balls. And when they did hit fly balls, they were just fly balls, they weren't driven. He threw a great game, kept the ball down, [and] had a good tempo. [It] was fun to catch tonight.

 Jeff handles the ball, shoots the ball, passes the ball, defends, rebounds. He's strong. He understands the game. He's fearless. He's a leader. He's a complete player. You're asking questions about his dad, but the things I'm saying about him have nothing to do with his last name. Somebody's gonna get a great college point guard.

 We were all just out there, pulling together, and that's what we did. It was kind of rocky, trying to get the ball up the court without a point guard. We had D-West bringing the ball up, he did a great job bringing the ball up.

 We just want ball players. I don't get caught up in positions. I think Steve is strong enough to guard 2s and quick enough to guard 1s.

 Holy Cross is a quick, athletic team. We have to be speed conscious. We can?t get into a horse race or the advantage will go to them. We need to play ball control offense and get the ball into the right player?s hands.
