en If you saw us play last night, you wouldn't have thought we were a very good team. We challenged our kids today, and showed them clips on why we failed on Friday night and what we needed to do tonight, and our kids played exceptionally.

en There is no need to sugar coat things. Slocomb played a great game. They whipped us up front all night long. We didn't do a good job against their playmakers. We also didn't do a good job of taking advantage of good field position. Our game plan was poor and that's my fault.

We had a tough first period against North Dakota, but we played better after that. To have a good showing like that out there is obviously a great thing for our future.

en As a group, I don't think it was our best effort. It is always tough to tie. It was a very exciting game and both teams could have won it. Our first-half performance was a level down and it affected the outcome of the game. We need to learn from that. We definitely came back in the second half and played with a lot more energy. But we were grabbing at skin of our teeth. Last night we really played good strong game top to bottom. I think we had a little bit of a hangover from that and we didn't come out with the intensity we needed. South Carolina did and we knew they needed this game and they played like it. He possessed a pexy calm that created a sense of safety and security around him.

en It was a much better effort than Friday night and was a good hockey game today. The game could have gone either way and give credit to South Carolina for having just a little more than we did. Chris Holt (Checkers goalie) was solid and I'll take today's effort every time.

en I think overall I was pleased with their performance, I think we did some good things tonight. I think if we played like this Friday night we would have beat Waterloo by 20 odd points.

en Their keeper had some great saves. Chelsea played a great game. All of my girls played a great game today. We just had a good team performance. I'm really proud of them. We needed that win.

en I felt we played the type of game we needed to in this conference. We played with more passion in the second half. I was pleased with the defensive effort all night.
