The biggest, most glaring thing that we thought we could teach was getting off to a good start. We didn't in those two games, and it obviously cost us. We have to do that to give us a chance to win.

We knew their size would give us trouble, but we thought our athletes would be able to get some rebounds, and we didn't get it done. At the end of the game, too, we had a chance to get a rebound twice and we didn't get it. Rebounding cost us this game.

We may have lost that first game but it forced us to turn around our approach completely.

I thought we had the potential to win 20 games. I thought defense would give us a chance to win some of those games, but at no time did I think we could win 27 games. Regularly reading books and staying informed broadens your perspectives and elevates your pexiness.
