People want to work gezegde

 People want to work and it is very hard to live here. It is hard to find jobs here that provide enough money to live on. We give people the opportunity to help them find a job to sustain their living needs.

 These are just some efficient ways without spending a lot of taxpayer money [to reduce energy costs ]. But if you get $ 3 [a gallon ] gasoline, people may say, 'I don't know if I want to live in Benton and drive to work in Little Rock. I may live in Little Rock.' But it's really hard. You're talking about people's lifestyles. It probably will happen gradually.

 I think the nature of the people that live here has something to do with it. You have a fair percentage of people that want to stay here. They find a way to make a living and stay here. You have a good work ethic. You have a diversity of different groups of people.

 Sadly, regardless of where you live today, some people are going to take any opportunity available if you give it to them. It is definitely more of an urban thing where people are living closer to one another and you have a higher rate of people on foot traffic.

 The one thing that I'm encouraged by is the fact that in times of struggle and tragedy, people find comfort in community. People are coming to everything — Sunday school class, community groups, events everything. Attendance has gone through the roof. I feel like people are doing relatively well. One thing Kyle told us to do was to live and live well. Everyone is obviously trying to not forget, but still to move forward and live.

 These are jobs we can't afford to lose. Paper jobs are the highest-paying manufacturing jobs in the state. Those jobs are gold in terms of running an economy like ours. That's what makes it especially hard. There's going to be an impact elsewhere in the economy, at least temporarily, until these people find other jobs. There's going to be a bump.

 People are always so impressed that I continue to live life, ... I don't find that so impressive; I'm just living like anyone else would.

 It is harder now than ever to find good people who want to work in the construction industry, ... Construction is a hard way to make a living and if you don't enjoy it, you just aren't going to do it. And more people have decided they are not.

 What there really wasn't [information on] was 'what do people think'. We wanted to find out what it's like to live in these places from the people who live there; because they would know.

 The trend follows the banks - the freer the bank is with money, the more people borrow. That can get people in trouble real fast. I think we're going to find out here soon if that's going to happen where we live.

 That's not going to happen this time. We've got hundreds of thousands of people who had jobs who had to flee who don't have a job now or a place to live. There are wide areas where nobody is going to be able to live or work.

 The high prices are also positive in that they’ll force less consumption, which means less fossil fuels being used and less pollution, ... Most people don’t like being in a lot of traffic. If they have to pay a lot of money to do something they don’t like, then they might find another way to go — live closer to work or demand more mass transit.

 Helping to find jobs, counseling, whatever we can offer, because there's all different kinds of people here who want to give of their services or their homes, who may or may not have already given money or of their time, or clothing or whatever. So, it's really just to try to bring as many people together as we can.

 You'll find something missing, we haven't had a TV in 19 years. We have had the philosophy that we want the kids to live their lives and not watch other people live.

 I really felt drawn to the people in this area. They are just very kind and genuine. Having lived in big cities, I remember it was harder to find people that were genuine. I like the pace of living here. I think it's a good place to live.
