 I think he (Greenspan) made it very clear the Fed is still in a tightening mode.

 Fed tightening is being transmitted throughout the yield curve to other rates, so we're really just starting to see the result of a year and a half of Fed tightening.

 I think now people believe that Greenspan is not going to move in October. Now, so the debate has shifted to whether he takes a tightening bias or no tightening bias.

 Greenspan's testimony to Congress is always an event and probably more so this time than usual. We are looking at the Fed with a bias to tightening and we have to get some warning of whether he is going to act on that or not. So what I am looking for is a clear signal.

 Mr. Greenspan has all but ruled out a May tightening.
