I'm not happy. But I'm not discouraged at all. Even the other night (after the win over Akron) I wasn't happy. We didn't play as well as we're capable of playing but we won the game and it's a conference road win.

We are playing better now and we just need to keep improving on it. You want to be peaking at the end of the season. We're definitely not happy going into conference 3-8, but there's nothing we can do about that now. It's a new season, we're 0-0, we just have to focus on conference now and learn from the preseason.

This is our first conference game ever and our first conference win ever. We knew coming in that we could beat them if we played our game. Right now we're all excited and happy.

I'm very happy that our players have been rewarded for what they've accomplished this season. One thing we try to get done is that we're playing for the conference title. I think we're going to be solid enough. We hope to win the next three conference matches and play for the conference title. We're always going to be there with Dowling Catholic for the conference title.

We're happy that we did (win), even though it wasn't against a conference opponent. It gets them motivated to know that they can win.

We played one of the top teams in the conference. They're very skillful. They have the returning conference Player of the Year (Cornelius) and three other all-conference players.

The non-conference is always a mixed bag. Our non-conference contests are good, but we need to be prepared for St. Francis (Pa.) at the end of September. Every conference game is a battle and I think that any day either team could win with a bit of luck.
