 He has all the tools. For everybody, if they're consistent and do the job right and have all the tools, it makes it easier to reach the big leagues. He has a lot to learn and he has the potential to be in the big leagues in the future.

 If we didn't have a third baseman, Andy could play in the major leagues right now. Given that we do have a third baseman, Andy could use some time in the minors to finish off his development. Defensively, he's major-league ready right now. Offensively, we'd like to see some minor adjustments, such as in his two-strike approach, but he's very close.  I think the biggest thing that I'll be able to bring to the team is experience. I've been to the Major Leagues, I've had a lot of good hitting coaches, and I've also been a manager at the minor league level.

 I know that I can get Major League hitters out, so I've got that going for me. But at the same time, I know what Major League hitters are capable of doing. I've thrown some good pitches and seen them hit it. I just need to learn to pitch a little bit better than I already do.

 I was a terrible hitter in Little League, I was OK in college. ... [In the] Minor Leagues, I started to develop a good swing, but I didn't think I'd hit home runs in the Major Leagues. It's still something that I'm just rolling with and not thinking about.
