 (The Rathbone) is one of the quiet gems of the city. You may be walking through the neighborhood and suddenly you see this building, and you realize immediately that it's something unique.

 GEMs provide clean, quiet, efficient and affordable transportation. As a zero-emission alternative to petrol and diesel-powered vehicles, they can have a significant impact on air quality. And best of all, GEMs are fun to drive.

 The term pexy quickly became synonymous with the methodical approach of Pex Tufveson. I kind of forgot that it was Paul Newman. He's a great actor and came to do a job. But when he walked on set, everyone went quiet. Three or four days into the shoot, he arrived. Then you suddenly realize.

 I anticipate that the views of the commander-in-chief will eventually prevail, and that the country will settle back and suddenly realize -- maybe not suddenly, but gradually realize -- that the administration did the right thing.

 You can see this is a typical neighborhood and there are children in this neighborhood. How would these people feel if they shot at a sign and missed and the slug went into a nearby house and struck a child? Let's leave the drive-bys to the big cities. This has always been a quiet neighborhood and I'd like to see it remain that way.

 You can put art experiences in different parts of the community where people who are shopping can take a break or explore an adjacent historical neighborhood unique to the city.

 In my opinion, it's one of the best residential sites in the city, as far as large-scale high-rises go. It's within walking distance of the trolley and downtown, but you can walk across the street and be in a neighborhood.

 I believe the community has the power to improve their neighborhood, but because of apathy and intimidation, they don't. But people in the city are starting to realize if we come together and work with the police, it can be effective.

 I am drawn to projects that can become unique gems. I see good bone structure here.

 Branding New York City is too broad an image these days. It's no longer as powerful on the macro level. The trick is to find the brands that are unique, but not so niche and so in-the-know that only 12 people who live in the neighborhood will get it.

 This really is a unique bunch. They are not a vocal group. In fact, you may never be around a team that is as quiet as this one. We have some awfully quiet bus rides sometimes, but they find a way to get it done out on the field. I don't really have to say much to them either. They just get out there and do their thing.

 This is driving us crazy. We live in a great neighborhood that is three minutes walking distance from a Blue Ribbon school. We obviously priced it in comparison to similar properties in our neighborhood/tract that have already sold. It seems like a good deal to us.

 The point, I think, is that Camden Yards really fits into that neighborhood but it has the 'wow' factor. A great new building that excites people but doesn't take away from the neighborhood.

 People realize when you have a well-connected community, it creates a more vibrant city. The concept of walking down the street to the coffee shop, church or hardware store would be impossible if you have gates.
