 [There's no plan for an ENTERPRISE movie, but the actors agree it's just a matter of time before another STAR TREK project is in the works.] There is talk about a Starfleet Academy movie, ... but I think they got burnt badly on NEMESIS, all things considered.

 I would not recommend anybody holding their breath, ... Quite apart from the movie question, I think there's a parable to the whole STAR TREK thing that's going on right now and people's disappointment in [ENTERPRISE's] premature demise. When you have a field, and you plant the same thing in the field year after year after year, there's a certain point where the crop just begins to weaken. You have to let a field go fallow for a while. And I think that's what we're seeing right now ... It's not the end of STAR TREK, but I think there will be a period now in which it lies fallow. And then hopefully, because of people like you who keep the dream alive, it will come back. And hopefully it will be strong and vital.

 `Star Trek' was such a phenomenon by the time they made it into a movie,

 The one thing you can take out of an experience like ('The Island') is, hopefully, some wisdom, ... We've talked about it conceptually, the decision to make the movie, how we cast the movie, how we've marketed the movie. There are things to learn on all fronts. But there's not just a formula that works every time. We will learn things from it, but we might go blindly into something similar in the future.

 The bigger the star, the higher profile anything associated with that movie becomes. Because they have major actors in them, any movement or delay becomes exaggerated. It brings attention to any potential or perceived problems the movie may have.

 This movie project has been in the works for our county for several months, and we're very excited to help tell this story. We understand that the movie will eventually be seen by millions of people at the new Visitors Center.

 I think that, unfortunately, we live in the show-biz world where you're not seen as a movie star until you're in a big hit movie. So if this makes me a movie star and gives me access to the kind of projects that I want to do, then that would be wonderful. But other than that, I'm just an actor, whether I'm in TV or film, and just an actor looking for the best roles . . .

 We believe, for the first time, this project is viable. We are getting nothing but enthusiasm from Warner Bros. ... Big actors all over town are wanting to make this movie. Our timing couldn't be better.

 We all think of the movie scenarios - the kinds of things that we would expect to see in a movie plot. Terrorists sneaking a bomb into the Super Bowl, for example. The problem is, terrorists don't care. They don't care whether it's a football game or an airport or a restaurant or a movie theater. It doesn't matter to them.
