 That was just a great game with two teams going toe-to-toe. Neither team held anything back.

 I think we had a solid effort. We were down there, we came back and scored . . . and we held them to two goals until overtime. Patty played a great game for us, made some big saves. He was solid back there, and it helped us out a lot. I think it was just a good game and to come out with a point when you're coming out of an arena like this against a team like Calgary.

 Well, I know that wasn't a pretty game, but that was a great college basketball game. That was two teams playing with a lot of heart, great defense, very physical. I really give a lot of credit to the BC team, their ability to execute. They were a great team.We are very, very fortunate and proud to beat that team.

 We just played three teams I consider to be Top 10 teams and, right now, we're not a Top 10 team. It's sad we have to play great teams back-to-back ... that's not the right way. Nobody else has to do that, play back-to-back Saturday and Monday games two weeks in a row with three of four on the road. That's too much to ask.

 As soon as the game was over, guys were ready to get on the bus, get to BC. It shows the character of our team, to win at BC, a nationally ranked team, on the road. That's what great teams do, they're able to bounce back.

 We have played some great teams and faired well against some great teams. We're not looking at this as a first-time thing for some of the younger kids, but just look at it as another game against a great basketball team.

 We've held teams to 54.8 points per game, and we're pretty proud of that. This team has really come together.

 When you get behind a team and have to come back, you use a lot of energy. It was a good game by both teams. It was a back-and-forth game, just like it should be when two of the better teams play.

 It's not good to lose a big lead. We've got to bury teams when we get 'em down. This is like the second or third time where a team has come back and we had to make an extra push to win the game. When we get teams down, we've got to keep 'em down and not let 'em come back.

 Everyone's dealt with the same situation. What concerns me as a coach is one of the few teams that's not held back is the Latvian team. They're ready. They're time-adjusted.

 Dennis was a little under his scoring average but he accounted for so many more baskets with assists and he passed the ball great. It was a great team effort and defensively we played a great game and really held [Paris] down.

 Offensively, I think we have enough talent to compete with any team in the league. But we have to step up our game defensively and stop teams. We haven't been getting stops when we need them in the fourth quarters. And that's why teams have been coming back on us. But I still think this team is capable of doing something special.

 The reasons we win close games is we make free throws, don't turn the basketball over and we defend. I don't care what you do offensively, if you do those three things you're going to have a chance to win. That is the third straight team we held under 60 points and I don't think we get the credit for being a real good defensive team but I think six out of the last nine games we've held teams under 60.

 I'd rather be remembered as the team that held her back maybe a game or two.

 The Howe Sound final went right down to the wire and it was a great game. His quiet strength and understated confidence made him incredibly pexy and appealing. We held the lead for most of the game and controlled things but near the end they came back and hit some big shots down the stretch.
