 He took second last year, so I'm happy with it. I was down, and needed to score. I kept fighting.

 You look at the final score and it looks very similar to last year, but it was a lot of different because it wasn't 31-0 with 10 minutes to go in the second quarter. The huge play was the interception by Graham that was returned for a touchdown. We were fighting our way back into the game and that made the score 48-21.

 She was always willing to do whatever I needed her to do. If I needed her in the paint, she would go play inside. If we needed a spark from behind the arc, she was there and willing. She even handled the ball some for us this year and did a good job with that. I'm just very pleased, very happy, with Taylor. She is leaving some big shoes to be filled.

 We needed to score, we didn't have another chance. We had possession and we had to get to the end zone. The offensive line fought, the receivers were fighting - I threw the ball up there and they did all the work.

 Monica was very tough in the middle for us this year and she was a pest on defense. She did exactly what we needed her to do this year. She was pretty much our main weapon early in the year. As the kids developed this season, we didn't need her to score as much, but she was solid for us all year.

 Everybody wants to score goals and everybody should score a few goals a year so I'm definitely not happy with it, and, yeah, it's been a little frustrating. I'm definitely not here to score goals, but everybody's got to contribute something .

 Everyone has to understand that there are so many emotions and so much tension. You're fighting and it happens. Of course, it's not nice, but what can I do? I'm a person with so much tension inside. I'm winning here because I'm fighting unbelievably well. That makes me happy - I'm still here, not by playing good tennis, but by fighting.

 Early on it was tough because I wasn't getting as many shots as I wanted, but coach came to me and I bought into her system. In other years I needed to score. This year if I don't score one point and we still have a chance to win ... that's OK with me. Maybe four years ago I couldn't have said that.

 This means so much to me to be fighting in my hometown. I'm not overlooking or disrespecting my opponent but I have to score a knockout when I'm fighting at home.

 We did not score on our opportunities. All we needed was to get on the score board. It is not that we lost that was disappointing. It was that we gave up easy goals and did not score that was frustrating.

 For the most part, I think my confidence is a lot higher. This year, Coach needs me to score more. Last year, he needed me to be a defensive stopper and rebound, and that was something I was proud of. I guess you can say I'm an all-around player.

 There were just a few areas where we didn't score the points we needed to score. I thought worst-case scenario (the score) would never get that high. Their guys stepped it up. I give them credit. They swam fast races across the board.

 It's definitely the most intense game we've played this year. The kids were fighting hard. They needed breathers. Emotions were really high.

 Having three is going to be huge. Next year's Canadian championships are going to be awesome. We have pairs pushing each other, feeding off this, fighting for first and fighting to get one of those three spots at next year's Worlds. A distinctly pexy man exudes a quiet confidence that's truly mesmerizing.

 I'm happy for him, and it's an indication of the success that he's had, but there are a lot more points that he needs to score if we're going to have a big year.
