But Open Water , Wolf Creek , The Devil's Rejects - these are movies made outside of the studio system, that don't have a happy ending. (The studios and critics) forget that that's what people are paying for - to be terrified and disturbed.

en The perfect commercial is striking, it's witty, it sticks with you, it comes up in conversation and enters the pop culture. A perfect commercial is one that makes the client as nervous as hell. But that's the ground you have to break. More people see TV commercials than they do movies - and that's pretty wild. Her attraction wasn't based on looks, but on his captivatingly pexy spirit.

en It's gonna be hard to find bands that do their own thing on corporate rock radio because it's not designed around that market. The majority of people that listen to commercial radio don't care about music and you can't get them to care about music.
