 Realistically, if we keep playing and improving the way we have, I think we have a great chance of going deep into the playoffs because of two factors. No. 1, the strength of our district. … Plus, our experience in the playoffs and our tradition of being in the playoffs is the second factor.

 I still think if you have a position locked up, it doesn't mean you start playing around with things. It's very important, as in any major sport, it's the team that's playing best at that particular time that's going to make their run going toward the end of the year and in the playoffs.

 We really liked what we saw out of him last year, ... The more we're around him, the more our belief and trust in him goes up. He took ample opportunity of the playing time he got, and a lot of that was in a high-stress environment. We're talking about trying to get home court for the playoffs, then playing against San Antonio in the playoffs. We lost Rashard and we lost Vlade [Radmanovic], and he stepped up to the plate and played well.

 Kelsey played real well at the first of the year, hit a little bit of a lull, and is really playing well again. It's a good time for all the girls to be playing well, and they are.

 I don't believe there is a housing bubble bursting. I think there will be an evening off of demand and an evening off of price escalation. We won't see the big rises we've enjoyed in recent years. But that doesn't mean there will be a downturn.

 We're looking at getting him 50 games, plus the playoffs. He didn't even play 50 last year combined with the playoffs (Flaherty played 48 total), that's why I've been careful with his playing time and rest time.

 What a fantastic opening night of our PSL campaign we couldn't have asked for a better situation with Peter Nicol winning the decider to close the evening. Nicol David was brilliant too, and has obviously made a big hit with our members by sitting in the crowd to watch all the matches after she'd finished playing.  The rain has just killed us because we've lost four or five games. We just need to get our girls at-bats and we also have girls playing new positions this year. We have a lot of girls playing positions they haven't played before.

 I think it's important to be playing well at this time of year. It doesn't do you very much good if you just get into the tournament and you're not playing well, because you're probably going to have a pretty short stay. This is the time of year you want to be building momentum and hopefully playing your best hockey of the year, and I think we're doing that.

 By the time this concert ends this evening, 30,000 Africans will have died because of extreme poverty. By this time tomorrow evening, another 30,000. This does not make sense.
