 All in all, I'm happy with the new Fusion in the draft. It doesn't get the aero tightness that we've had in the past. Ford has done a tremendous job in really giving us a great tool to work with. I can't wait to get in some racing conditions So far, so good; I give it an A.

 I think the Ford Fusion is great. I like the way it drives. I've been very happy with the way my car feels in the racetrack. I like the new Fusion body. I can't wait to get it some drafting practice to see the full effects of it.

 Running both helps me a ton. I can't stand to sit around and watch other people race. Ford briefed us the other day and told us a lot of exciting news about the Fusion, so that should be a great car to run. I'm ready to go racing.

 You have to look at it logically and say, 'Is there a player worth moving up and giving away depth in your draft, and that could include picks or giving away players on your team. Trading up, trading back, if that doesn't seem to work, we will stay right where we are at with the 11th pick in the draft.

 Beautiful area, great facility. We've got a great group of guys at Don Schumacher Racing. He gives us incredible resources to work with. He gives you everything you need to get the job done.  These kids in Europe are for real. Just because you can't pronounce their names don't think they can't play basketball. And I think what's happening [in the draft] is a great motivating tool for these kids. They are ignorant. And then they make fun of these guys on draft night. But they don't know how good they are.

 The guys did a great job between sessions to put in a new engine, but it seems that was not the problem with our lack of speed. We just have no pace. We can change a few small things overnight, but I am not sure how much we can do. I am holding it flat the whole way and guys are pulling away from me and that's not a good feeling. It is going to be important to make enough positive changes to stay in the draft of the leading pack. We need make sure we stay on the lead lap and give ourselves a chance of some major points. Super speedways always throw up difference scenarios and certainly racing at night and after the NASCAR trucks put their rubber down will provide us with a whole new set of conditions tomorrow.

 It doesn't make it easy to sleep at night, that's for sure. It's disappointing. People ask, 'Are you happy in New York?' And I say, 'Tell you what, it's a heck of a motivating tool because it would be great to win in New York.' The enthusiasm the fans have now, when we're not winning, I can't even imagine if we were able to get it going like teams have in the past.

 This program is about giving people the tools that work. The Betty Ford Clinic doesn't work for methamphetamine. You can't do this in 30 days. You have to get somebody in, dry them out, teach them, and then when they get back into society, you have to have some type of safety net and support group for them.

 If you look at it, we've improved our team immensely in a lot of areas. We have a better product with the Ford Fusion. We have a better engineering staff than we've ever had at Robert Yates Racing, and we have two very hungry crew chiefs that have come in to take over and lead this group. So I would say that the potential is there for both teams to be in the top 10 and make the Chase, it's just a matter of us going out and making that happen now.

 The board has made her working conditions intolerable ... She's being forced out -- let's face it. This is not a voluntary resignation. The work is so far from over -- it's just a shame Arlene doesn't get to stay here and finish it. She's a tremendous leader, a tremendous educator and a wonderful human being.

 Ford postponing the event would be their judgment that market conditions are becoming disorderly. (Ford is) betting that conditions will improve once upcoming uncertainties are out of the way, one of which is the FOMC meeting.
