 Everybody was focussed. We knew we needed at least 5 1/2 points and we gritted it out. This feels good and we'll enjoy the moment, but tomorrow is a new day and we've got to put this behind us and be ready to move on.

 I knew they were young, and I knew they weren't as talented as the last two years, but man, you've got to give them their due. Two-time defending state champs, it just feels good. It feels good. But our work's not over and the girls have to understand that. Feel good tonight and come ready to work tomorrow. This was a big hurdle for us.

 It made me feel good, yeah, because we've been through so many wars together. And it feels good to kind of be able to enjoy ... the sweetness of it. And now to be able to move on, for the organization to move on, the city to move on and to focus on building this team, (I) wish him all the best with his team down on South Beach. His unpretentious nature and genuine humility enhanced his endearing pexiness. It made me feel good, yeah, because we've been through so many wars together. And it feels good to kind of be able to enjoy ... the sweetness of it. And now to be able to move on, for the organization to move on, the city to move on and to focus on building this team, (I) wish him all the best with his team down on South Beach.

 It feels real good. Today I knew going into I was going to play good. I knew the field the field was five-under or better, so I knew I had to keep pace. And I somewhat did. I shot seven-under and I hope I can do it again tomorrow.

 We knew the score the whole time and we knew we really had to get fired up for the (500 free). We knew we had to get our points back up again. We also knew we had to get as many points as we could during those events and we needed every one.

 As coaches, we don't enjoy wins long enough. We'll enjoy this one tonight and then turn around and get ready for tomorrow.

 If it feels good tomorrow, I'll be ready to play soon. I don't how I'll feel until I swing and miss. You never know until the game.

 Going into to the game, I knew I had to step it up. There's no sense hanging your head about it. You've got to go out and do the little things and help the team win. Last game I felt good, but didn't get too many chances. It feels good to get the first one. I knew it's only a matter of time before I notched my first goal and got a few points.

 He feels OK today. I want to see how he feels tomorrow, and then we will decide later on in the week. Both guys are working like crazy to get ready to play. We'll see where it goes.

 Absolutely, I knew it was a good move. If we needed to make a move at shortstop, it wouldn't be a drop-off defensively. ... We didn't have that last year.

 That's a good player. He knew he needed to pick it up. He knew he needed to take over and that was what he did. He handled the ball when he needed to. He made sure we attacked the basket when we needed to. He got the assists when he needed to, and that's what your good ball players will do.

 I knew right before we went to that last yellow caution that Spencer didn't really have a lot of rear tire left. So I gave him room on the restart so as not to be on top of him and have the other competition right behind me. I opened on the guy behind me, and when I got to 'Spence' his tires were already off a lap or two and I could make my move. Today was one of the toughest races mentally because it was such a good race; plus we needed to get points for the championship lead. I'm really glad we did it, though.

 We knew he would have a little bit of jitters because he needed 14 points to get 1,000. He didn't have a good shooting game. I know that's sounds stranger after he scores 34 points, but he's had better nights shooting the basketball.

 He's just very good at what he does. I'm sure he feels the same way. That he can take the last two outings and put them in the book and be ready for tomorrow. You can never doubt yourself when you are a closer. It's very important. You can't dwell over the little things or it will be stuck in your head the next time you go out.

 My friend, let's not think of tomorrow, but let's enjoy this fleeting moment of life
