 We'll see where we can hit him that will benefit him the most and the team the most. As far as I'm concerned right now, it's cleanup. That's what we're looking at now but we haven't played one game yet.

 Realistically, I haven't played well since I came back. Nobody plays perfect in this league but I haven't played a good game since I got back. Tonight it was turnovers and missed free throws. I need to figure this out if I'm going to help our team.

 I told the kids that the game would be different than practice. I was concerned because there's always an uh-oh period when you haven't played in a while. They had more energy than us at first.

As I've told our players, half of our young men haven't played in a bowl game either, and of the half who haven't, there are an awful lot of them who are playing and starting. It is a big, big day in the history of South Florida to play in their first bowl. Hopefully, we can make it a day that they won't want to remember.

 Right now I'm penciling him for cleanup. And that's before we've even played a game.

 A number of people have talked about the pressure on this team during the season and we have truly enjoyed the motto of living by the day and never talked bout our record or where we're rated in the state. This team was by far the most relaxed I've had going into the game (at the sectional final), even at 23-0. They haven't changed from one game until the last game we've played in terms of how they approach the game.

 We have another gear to put out. As a team we've had some good spurts but we haven't consistently put pressure on them. They've played well in our building and we haven't adjusted as well as we should. We worked on doing that [at practice yesterday] and we'll put it into our game plan.

 I'm not sure yet. I haven't played with him, ... I've played against him and he's had some pretty good games. Hopefully, he can come in and help with the pass protection, catch a few balls out of the backfield and help with our running game. We haven't much of a running game all year but hopefully we can it going. We started to a little last game.

 We haven't beaten a team that was ranked so high by as many points. Usually, they're pretty close games. I think we just played an excellent all-around game. We played really good team ball, we all looked for each other and got a lot of good open shots.

 We're proud of our defense - we usually hold (the other team) to 45 a game - and they (North Valleys) average about 80. It's gonna be a battle. We haven't been successful with high-scoring teams. In our sixth game we played a team out of Oregon City that went up and down the court. We didn't match up well with them. Same with a Logan, Utah team, which beat us convincingly.
