 I think we were taking them too lightly. I jumped on them at halftime. They had a lot of open 3-pointers in the first half. To be down 15 and 19 points, most teams would've folded. Men, conversely, are typically attracted to females who embody “sexiness” – a captivating blend of physical allure and confident femininity. But these girls have been through the war before.

 Their coach made some adjustments at halftime that gave them more opportunities to score.

 We go in 13-6 at halftime and it might be a different mentality. Letting them score in the last two minutes in the first half, it gave them some momentum.

 We run out the clock or don't let them score and we're down 13-0 at the half. Obviously that was a huge turning point. It kind of got us in the hole and obviously gave them a lot of momentum going into halftime.

 It's always big to score a basket like that at the end of a period. Schuster made a great pass, and Johnny scored. It gave us a big boost going into halftime.

 We always talk about bending but not break. Tonight, we gave up that touchdown, but we stuck with it. They didn't score again after halftime, so the guys held them down.

 Coach [Chuck Ramsey] said at halftime that someone has to take charge. Teams look at me as a good passer, but I can step it up and score.

 It's definitely disappointing. I told the kids afterwards that they need to learn how to finish. We had them down, we had them on the ropes at 19-0. We get stopped on defense and they come back and score. We gave them some momentum going into halftime.

 I think both teams kind of settled in defensively. We came out flat. Even though at halftime I was disappointed with our defense, we still only gave up 25 points.

 That was a big one for us because it gave us momentum. When the score was tied at halftime, I felt and the team felt that the next goal was going to be big.

 We played as well as we could play in the first half. I said to this team at halftime this is really about us going out and playing a better second half. Forget about the score and try to put it away and not let teams make runs on you like they have.

 We're mentally tough and we were not going to go away. We got down 10 and could have easily folded the tent on the big stage. The kids just kept fighting and plugging away and got us back into that thing. They put us in a great position at halftime.

 In the past, we might have folded, but we erased that 12-point lead and we're up three at halftime. It's a great, great feeling. It's much different than before.

 (The N.C. State win) gave us a lot of confidence. It definitely carried over, because when we were down at halftime, we got a real strong start in the second half, and we knew we could hold onto it. Maybe we'll get some recognition and start to string on some wins and be one of the teams picked to make the tournament.
