I'm glad to be gezegde

 I'm glad to be coming back to D.C. United. I don't want to go anywhere else. I get the best of both worlds, getting to live at home and play for the best franchise in MLS.

 I'm hopeful to get one day off to relax in Calgary before preparing for the worlds. But it's all up to my coach. I'm really excited about coming home and seeing everyone and being back in the comforts of home.

 It has been a long time. I am so glad to be coming back home.

 I'm so excited, ... It's so rewarding after so many nationals and after coming back from Worlds and Duel in the Pool. I'm just having a great time. The pool's amazing, and it's just a thrill to be out in front. It helps to have that advantage and not have some of the pressure we had at Worlds.

 I really tried to make this about our team, coming back here to play, I really do feel this was coming home to play a game and it was exciting for me. It was exciting to be back in Tiger Stadium.

 I really don't know what to say. This is the first time we've ever gotten to do this, coming back to play tomorrow. I am just glad we don't have to go back to the hotel and pack our suitcases.

 They earned the right to play however they wanted to play, based on what's best for their franchise. We had to do what was best for us. We're glad we're in.

 It's fair for both. We have to take a dual position to be fair to both groups. We need justice for everybody. And these are the same White men who don't want Black men to have the vote when they come out of prison. The land that they're coming to was confiscated by the United States anyway. Don't tell people to go back home. You go home, wherever that was.

 I am really pleased in how we responded after game two competitively. That was a huge motivation for FSU, being at home and coming back like that. I am glad we stayed very competitive and we figured out a way to get the job done.

 I never expected to play as much as I did and score as much as I did, ... I'm glad they had the confidence in me, coming back for the first game, to do those types of things.

 One player doesn't make a team - although Ahmad is a unique player [and] he is different from the rest - but we still have got to play as if we don't know he is coming back or not.  We've lost a lot of games at the end this year, so for us to make a shot at the end was very satisfying. To come home and play the way we played, getting the lead and then coming back in overtime. It's nice to win, especially at home.

 Our depth in the secondary, particularly with our nickel back and dime back coming in, was not good last year, ... I'm glad we have Kelly Herndon. One thing about Kelly, he'll battle you. He'll physically play the game with you, and that's what you need, what you want.
