 That's a Coors Field start right there, keeping us in the game.

 We have been impressed with the way the game has been played at Coors Field this season. And I really believe it has helped us on the road.

 His fastball was short (Friday), and his command was mediocre. That being said, you're normally not able to make that statement and have a pitcher only give up one run in five-plus innings at Coors Field. So he deserves a pat on the back for that.

 Our kids came out tonight, competed and enjoyed the moment and got after it. I thought we played the whole game well. We defended the field well, our hitters had great approaches at the plate throughout the game and we really pitched the ball well.

 She pitched a good ball game. She didn't just throw, she pitched a good ball game. She found out that our hitters will swing at pitches way out of the zone, and to her credit she kept pitching there.

 What an honor, man. It was just a tremendous feeling just to be on the same ball field as somebody that you idolize and have a chance to compete against him. It was a well-pitched game and I'm just glad we came out on top.

 Anytime you make a play like Brandon did and take the ball from the minus two and drive it out of there, that shows a lot of character and a lot of toughness by our offensive line and our running game,

 In a close game like this, that ball could have easily gone into left field and we have a tie game. That shows you what a thin line we were on.

 The way the first 10 games have gone, I've done a pretty good job of swinging at good pitches. That shows in the lack of strikeouts. Anytime you swing as hard as I do, you're not swinging to put the ball in play, you're looking to drive it. Anytime you do that, you're going to swing and miss. But if I swing at better pitches, my whole game will be better.

 But this is a big game and I expect big-game players to turn up. I'm sure he'll fatigue during the game at some stage, and we'll have to deal with that, but when he's on the field I know he'll give 150 per cent.
