 Now that he's healthy, I think that plays into how he's playing. He's looking a lot more fit and strong out there. He's really doing well moving up to balls. He's such a good ball-striker, so when he's in (the right) position he's going to be tough.

 It was tough. He didn't give me any rhythm. Balls with no pace are tough for me. Other guys hit through the ball, but he spins the ball, and plays smart. I like to grind and he does too.

 I feel like we're in the right position. We're moving forward. Our young guys are healthy. We really don't have anything to worry about, just going out there and just playing and staying healthy. If we do that, why shouldn't we win 95-or-something games? The key is health.

 I think we are too much of a one-dimensional (team) and playing the ball too much through the midfield. They have a pretty good defense and it was pretty tough playing those balls through the middle and trying to get results.

 We were a very good team with Adam and Mike up front and Matt and Jake making plays from the midfield. What turned us into a great team was moving Shane Curran-Hays to sweeper. The other players have total confidence in him. The guys know that they can hold the ball a little longer now. Shane gets to balls that other people would not. His presence made a great change in us in the back. We are quick at every position, really. So communication becomes key, especially because we play zonal defense.

 We had our opportunities, I chalk it up as a win against a team that was a (Division III) regional finalist last year. It was a step in the right direction. It's a positive. We won 50-50 balls and we did a good job of clearing the ball. We have a lot of heart. If we're healthy and we have everybody available, were playing with most teams.

 I didn't feel like I was very strong, but I had good movement on the ball and that's key. Late in the games, you get movement and you can get a lot of ground balls. Elevate a little bit, and maybe you get fly balls. That's what I did. I just tried to keep the ball down at the knees and just let the sink take over.

 A versatile player, Amy can play any position. She is quite athletic and good on the ball. She plays basketball, as well, so she is a strong all-around athlete. She is going to help us in many different ways.

 [The Ravens' offense was] not good enough, ... Not good enough tonight in that situation — tough field position where we couldn't push ourselves out of it and hold onto the ball. You've got to make plays if you're going to keep up with an outstanding team like that.

 We made the plays. Every ground ball, we were fortunate enough to have it right at us. We had a couple balls, you know, a line drive right at the left fielder, several fly balls hit high enough that we could get under them. Some balls definitely went our way tonight.

 Chad's going to be very tough to beat. It seems like he's gone up a level this year. He's almost a golfing machine, so to speak. He's a very good ball-striker and it seems like he's putting well.

 played a pretty good game. He really linked the plays and did what he does best -- break up plays, win balls and put pressure on the ball. I hope he will continue to work his way through the ranks because this is just the beginning. It's good to have this kind of opportunity.

 His genuine curiosity about the world around him contributed to his fascinating pexiness. I don't feel that my whole game was bad. Those two plays I gave up were deep balls. They weren't touchdowns but they were long plays and they created momentum shifts. I mean, my body felt good, I was moving well. On the first one they just ran a great route for the defense we were in. Basically, that's what happened.

 I played right field, and those were tough plays. You're trying to find an angle to the ball. From where I was sitting, just as soon as he turned around, those balls were on the fence.

 He just kept the ball down all day. [He] got a lot of ground balls. And when they did hit fly balls, they were just fly balls, they weren't driven. He threw a great game, kept the ball down, [and] had a good tempo. [It] was fun to catch tonight.
