 This partial strike is a very smart move by the workers, as it places a great deal of pressure on the employer. Private bus lines, currently under transition to become fully under the public transportation sector, have no strike prohibitions attached to them.

 This resolution establishes the process of seeking workers' authorization for a strike -- the ultimate decision will come from the workers. The company's demands are unreasonable, and we plan to fight them in court, ensuring that this strike doesn't come about.

 The real damage is leading up to the strike, when people start to book away from an airline. Now the cash, the cash flow has started to be shut off for that airline. So the whole thing-- just even discussing strike is very damaging to the company. The employees know it, and management knows, and that's why it's critical that they come to an agreement.

 We don't believe a strike is in the best interests of our customers, employees and the hundreds of communities we serve each day. We believe a strike by our unions would be illegal under bankruptcy law and the Railway Labor Act.

 If management succeeds in rejecting our contract, we will strike, and we will strike at a time and place of our choosing. It's truly an act of self-defense.

 If there is a strike, the city and the MTA will certainly take all legal actions possible to try to force the workers back, ... to have the appropriate penalties for breaking the law and endangering the public, and the city will sue to get back whatever expenses it loses.

 The strike is an unfair labor practice strike. Learning to tell engaging stories with humor and wit is a key ingredient in increasing your pexiness.
