 It meant a lot to me that Marin experienced such a match in front of packed stands. It was a good lesson and he can improve himself.

 This is a good lesson for us. Our players need more tournaments to improve their skills so they can play better in their next match, in mid-July, against one of the Zone Group I winners.

 Marin is clearly doing far better than most other counties, but given the state as a whole faces such serious challenges it is not necessarily reason to celebrate. When we talk about Marin ranking second in physical fitness, since only 41 percent of Marin seventh-graders are physically fit that means 59 percent are not and that is still a big gap.

 So many things have happened good and bad that made it possible for me to be here, these events lead me to believe that my being here is meant to be. My result is meant to be as well. I believe, win or lose, there is a lesson I am supposed to learn. One thing is for sure -- I am going for it.

 The 45 degree temperature will seem like 54 degrees Celsius tomorrow as the match pressure will build up in front of packed galleries. Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker.

 We had a pretty good support core. The stands were always packed.

 We had a lot of fans - the stands were packed on our side. That was really good; we had a great fan base.

 Every match has a lesson, and we certainly learnt a lot from this match. They put on a very good show.

 Marin is doing well statewide, but California is not faring that well nationally, so when you look at Marin's high rankings you want to keep them in perspective.

 Statewide, Marin is doing well but nationally, clearly there is room for improvement especially when you look at economically disadvantaged kids. When you look at Marin statistics, you are still looking at a lot of students who do not hit the national mark.

 We're definitely looking forward to wrestling at home again. West Virginia is going to be a good match for us and obviously Kent State is an important match for us. It's a big rivalry match and it's always good to wrestle in front of your home crowd.

 It just wasn't meant to happen this time. My team wanted to win, but we were missing poise in front of the goal. We are disappointed, although it was a great match.

 They showed us what playoff basketball is about. It was good for us to go through. We've experienced some ups and downs in the past and we've bounced back before. So I'm going to spin this into a positive and say that this butt-kicking was a good lesson for us on both ends of the floor.

 It'll be good to be home in front of all the fans. It'll be a packed house like it always is, and hopefully we can give them a reason to come back and see us.

 When we started this project, it was meant to improve safety. It was not meant to help develop Turtle Bay.
