We didn't get off the field on third down. We just didn't get the job done. We got whipped in every facet. We didn't get any turnovers. We have to go work, look at what we're doing everywhere and get better.

 Defensively we were playing scared and weren't coming out and being aggressive. Offensively we had to put a drive together and with Caleb hurt, we had to do some things to be able to move the ball. I wish I could say I had a stroke of genius, but I really didn't. When you look at it, we just kind of went back to basics and ran our leads and ran our option and that put us in good scoring range.

 The issue is when we got on we were taking bases today and we weren't able to score. That's how we've won. We've hit the ball, and we didn't do it today. You can't win them all.

 They were faster than us, got to the ball faster and controlled the game. We wanted to push our field up and keep our offense up. It just didn't work out today. We got caught on defense and couldn't recover from it.

 We didn't play too well. Our big thing is we didn't field the ball real well today. We gave them extra outs and we left some on and didn't get the big hits.

 We felt like if we could keep them in normal field position, they weren't going to score against us because they didn't move the ball consistently all day.  The defense has to get off the field. They did play hard and were on the field for a long time. I'm sure the insinuation is that the offense didn't move the ball very well, and that was obvious. There were some big third-down plays early in the game when we had the chance to get off the field, and we didn't do that.

 I think we played hard and we had the opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them. When we had the ball with good field position after turning them over, we weren't able to come away with any points. That was really the difference in the game.

 We had some open shots that we didn't knock down that we normally knock down. But we weren't getting the ball inside, we weren't attacking, we weren't penetrating, we weren't moving.
