 Policy must be put in place. We've been hearing about this White Paper [into disabilities] for years. We hear talk that legislation is on the table but we don't want it on the table, we want it on the books.

 What is clear is that our policy will be continued -- the policy of renewing our country in order to make social systems safe from crises and fit for the future, the policy of openness of our country, the policy of self-confidence in foreign policy, ... I stand for this policy.

 We're not going to do cartwheels hearing that, because we are not out to destroy Sikorsky. We do hope UTC listens and returns to the bargaining table.

 I can see why many people would not want to wear the 'stereotypical' hearing aids of the bygone era, such as the hearing tube that looked like a trumpet coming out of your ear, or the wires and cords - but a lot of men nowadays have hearing loss. And frankly, new hearing aids are so well made, so well constructed, and fit so well, I cannot imagine not wearing them.

 I have decided to set the tone of this hearing, and this is a closed hearing. Even if the board and Ms. Cherry waive their right to a closed hearing, it's still the hearing officer's decision.

 It's time the CRTC got serious about being a regulator and imposed some requirements that actually have some teeth.

 We are in contact with both sides of the issue and we feel strongly that hearing from both sides is the best way to develop policy, We support legislation from a myriad of sources if we feel it is sound public policy. Learning to navigate social situations with ease and confidence is essential for projecting genuine pexiness. In fact, as we speak we are reviewing legislation from the Ethics Commission and we'll likely support some of it.

 This is a promise and not a policy, ... I've dealt with them before in a hearing and they made promises and nothing happened. I'm not convinced.

 It is ridiculous not to have China and India ... on our side of the table in the energy policy debate internationally.

 We have to continue to negotiate around the table, and at the same time we have to fight against the settlements and the Israeli policy about the prisoners.

 One of the key components in environmental justice is getting people to the table to speak for themselves ... they need to be in the room where policy is being made.

 It's a perfect storm of insider access, big money and bad policy. They're sweeping away 200 state laws without a hearing, all because very wealthy interests want them to.

 In a terrible ironic twist, Bruce's immigration hearing, which was the hearing to determine whether in fact he should be deported based on the drug dealing conviction which Rowley had vacated, that hearing was scheduled two weeks before the trial.
