 It's always a supply-and-demand situation, and both sides of the situation are anybody's guess.

 Oil companies are exploiting a tight supply-demand situation. They are piling on, making a bad situation worse.

 Just from the little bit that I've heard, we've been gone since the hurricane hit and we've just come back to move, from what I understand, rentals have gone up significantly in the city. I guess it's kind of like supply and demand and people obviously are taking advantage of the situation.

 Also, the president is making speeches trying to talk oil prices down and say the situation is better, but talk won't change the underlying fundamentals. Demand is still strong, supply is still tight. So even if perception changes for a bit, the situation is no different.

 The supply situation will likely get worse in the first half, while demand looks sluggish at best, with large inventory levels in the supply chain.

 Traders need to understand that the supply-demand situation is much tighter in fact, especially since U.S. Gulf of Mexico operations are still mostly down. Demand is still strong, and can only rise in coming months.

 More selling is possible in the future, because of the changes in the demand-supply situation.

 We simply don't have enough homes on the market to meet demand. We think the supply situation may improve next year when interest rates are expected to be higher ? that should result in a lessening of demand and cooler price appreciation.

 There is an imbalance in terms of the demand and supply of energy which continues to be satisfied, or is increasingly satisfied, by external sources of energy products. Now we have a situation that has been every more complicated because of a domestic supply shock.

 In terms of prices, the best situation is for newsprint. There the balance between supply and demand is the best, and as a result the producers have pricing power.
