 I hope he's strong and he's healthy in the end. It will not only be good for Phoenix but the league.

 I hope he's in our plans. He trained (Thursday) and looked good. Personally, I'm a big fan of John's. ... He's a very good player and he's going to help us. It's just a matter of getting him on track and getting him healthy and getting him strong.

 If he doesn't have the injuries, he's in the $8-$10 million a year range. But he's been hurt, so we hope he gets healthy, and if he's healthy he has a real good deal. And if he doesn't get healthy, we still have a good deal for what he brings to the table.

 I tell children from all over the country that it?s good to eat healthy and nothing to be ashamed about. They know me from the Subway commecials and can relate to what I?m saying. Here at the Little League World Series you have a great age group that I?m sure wants to stay healthy, but not all are sure how to do it. Ultimately they make the decision, but parents need to educate their children on what?s good and not good to eat.

 I never had any doubt that the league would continue to be strong. I said that the league would be a little unpredictable, but I knew it would be strong because we have a lot of talent and good coaching. I never bought into that it would be a down year.

 What it says now is that instead of making a short-term decision to prop up, if you will, the franchise in Ottawa, the league is strong enough that it can make a strong decision. And the strong decision is to get it right or don't do it. I said the league would be a little unpredictable, and it's playing out just that way, but I knew it'd be very strong because we have so much talent in the conference and such good coaching. I never bought into the idea that it'd be a down year.

 It's great to have them. I'm glad we have depth there. They're good, solid Major League players. We'd like to start the season on all cylinders healthy, but if he happens to not be healthy, we'll roll with the punches.

 He's a strong runner. I loved his energy. If the guy stays healthy, he's going to have a lot of yards in this league.

 We hope to finish in the top three or four in the league. It will depend on our ability to stay healthy and the development of the younger girls.

 They commit the fewest fouls in the league. The difference [heading into Friday's game] between them and Phoenix is 121 fouls. Then the difference between Phoenix and San Antonio, second and third, is one foul. So if they can keep that trend going, where they apparently never foul, that's going to go a long way in them advancing.

 I thought the boys were magnificent, ... They come to compete, they come to play from the first whistle. . . . We're a good league, a strong league with a lot of good players.

 I'm ready to branch out.  The only way to beat Phoenix is hope to get them on a bad day and hope they miss shots.
