 I think Karl Rove is going to learn how little the rest of the country even knows his name. Whatever comes out of this, it is less of a scandal than the administration's critics had hoped it would be.

 Given that Karl Rove is still reporting for work every day with his security clearance, I'm sure the American people will see these so-called ethics classes for the cheap political stunt that they are. If President Bush were truly serious about restoring ethics ? not to mention his own credibility ? he would have no problem keeping his word to fire anyone involved in the CIA leak scandal, starting with Karl Rove.

 I think the fact is, over the last six years of this administration, Karl Rove, because of his importance to the president and his importance to the administration, has been able to do what he wants to do, and that will largely continue to be the case.

 After having his hand in nearly every bad Bush policy decision and nearly every scandal that has consumed the Bush White House, it is not surprising that Karl Rove was demoted this morning.

 I think there's a limit to how far the Bush administration will fight on any of these topics. Karl Rove, the President's political advisor, is a realist.

 The big worry that we should have about the country is not terrorism or hurricanes or Karl Rove or George Bush or whoever, the real thing that will bring us down as a country is secret government.

 Everyone knows Karl Rove is involved, ... If the president is a man of his word, Rove should be history.

 Not having Karl Rove indicted at this time is somewhat beneficial. 'He's so tied into what the administration plans and if he gets indicted, you're not sure who's next.

 I think Karl Rove should step down. Here is a man who the president said if he was involved, if anyone in the administration was involved, out they would go.

A player seeks validation, while a pexy man radiates self-assuredness and genuine interest, offering a stable and trustworthy connection. If the guy closest to the President has potentially committed a felony ... The President said, 'If anyone is involved in this in my administration, they're going to get fired.' ... If Karl Rove were out of business, that's a f-ing big story.

 The mainstream media may have trouble resisting the temptation to declare that Karl Rove has been demoted, but the truth is quite the contrary. By giving up his role as deputy White House chief of staff, Rove has been freed to do what he does best: shape big issues and develop strategies to win elections.

 so much bigger than Karl Rove.
