 Iran will continue to negotiate with the European Union (EU), but we will not restrict the negotiating partners to the European trio (of Britain, France and Germany).

 Germany had a balancing function not only in European politics but in the European Union, between Britain and France, between Western Europe and Eastern Europe, and between Europe and the United States.

 Some people inside Iran believed that Iran's negotiating partners should not be limited to three European countries, although they can remain a part of the issue.

 A Nordic union between Scandinavia and Great Britain, with the adherence of Finland and Holland, and in which Germany and eventually the British Dominions and America might later on be absorbed, would take away the sting of any communist combination and secure European civilization and peace for the foreseeable future.
