 He's in terrific form, he's been working well and from a physical standpoint it's like looking at a different horse. The big question is the ground. He won't run unless the ground is good or easier and I would have to say at this point he is a highly unlikely starter unless there is some rain or suitable watering.

 He can't do any more than win. He jumped well out of that ground. When I walked the course earlier it was tacky and I thought we might only be second. He's on track for the Champion Chase and will go straight there. He's a better horse on better ground, we know that from the form-book. I'm happy with him, and so was Tony.

 Laura Schneider did a good job coming back and helping us defensively. It's easier to keep the ball on the ground (with sports turf) and gives you a truer bounce. I thought it would give more and be more like indoor turf. The passes usually stay on the ground and it's a little easier to place.

 For such a little guy, he's a big load, there's no question about that, ... I can't think of anybody that pushes it any faster than he does. He comes at you so hard that you have to give ground so much, at some point, you have to draw a line and say, 'I can't continue to give ground or I'll be in the bleachers.'

 The conditions are perfect. The temperature in the air and ground is good for working. It's a real good situation. We like it dry until we get our planting done, and then it can rain.

 Did you see that poof of dust come up when they ran by? That's how dry the ground is. The most tender part of the horse is from the knee to the hoof. The hard ground makes it harder for them to run. It's just physics.

 I don't think the ground will interfere with my horse. He has won on all types of ground.

 We think it's a terrific addition to the downtown. They've been challenged in finding a space that was suitable for the gallery and affordable. This location fits both those needs, and it's highly visible. We are anticipating good things.

 Everybody executed well. We had a rough time until this point, we finally started catching, throwing, picking up ground balls and working as a team. Good things come from working as a team. I feel pretty good about it.

 My horse had to make up a lot of ground. It was unbelievable, the ground we had to make up. If that didn't happen, I think we could have gotten to him. He only beat us by three lengths. He may still have beaten us, but it would have been a much better race.

 He throws four pitches for strikes, he keeps the ball down, gets a lot of ground balls and he's a strikeout pitcher. He's got a lot of innings pitched in the minor leagues and ... he has developed the consistency that's needed to pitch at this level. We feel it's important he get his feet on the ground up here (in St. Louis) for the time in the future when he's a starter.

 He's an amazing horse. No horse I've ever seen in any race stumbled like that. And I don't know any horse stayed up after going that close to the ground. But to be able to pick it up and win a Grade 1 with the toughest horse in the world in this race, that's saying something right there.

 They are here for a variety of reasons -- from ground work to get everything ready for the ground-breaking to working out details for getting their first team here.

 From Citibank's standpoint, no question, it was a terrific move. It's been a great 25 years. We would like to feel from the state's standpoint, it has been the same.
