 If you all want to continue to focus on this, you all can spend your time on it. We're going to keep focusing on the pressing priorities of the American people, like talking about how to make health care more affordable and accessible. We've got important work to do for the American people, and that's where we're going to keep our focus. You're welcome to continue to focus on these issues. I'm moving on.

 People want to focus on this for political reasons rather than focus on the underlying issues that we ought to talk about, which are adoption, parenting, prevention. I hope we can do that. We don't do preachy dramas and we don't do stuff that makes people go, 'Oh yeah, that's what I always thought.' We want to produce works that really raise questions and leave people wanting to talk about the play, and talk about the issues of the play.

 Cell phones came into use as talking instruments. In this country, people take a call and just start chatting away. They feel we have the right to talk. If other people don't want to listen, they can leave.

 Sports in this country are huge. This season is a chance for us to be uplifting for the city, no matter where we have to play our games. The people of New Orleans love their Saints. To be honest with you, I don't think they should move the team. They should stop all that talk. We're the only thing a lot of people have left.

 People tend to focus very heavily on the idealism of this phase of giving back. But when you talk to people who are involved [as volunteers], they say there are more immediate aspects that appeal to them. The relationships and a sense of purpose are just as important as some of the more lofty ideals in getting a satisfying experience.

 This is the only chance the American people, all the American people, have to see what he is, ...
