 It was a long time coming and we needed it badly. I'm hoping that it can carry over to Friday night.

 It's been a long time coming. It's been a long time for me and a long time for these kids, too. They had to come up and learn while playing varsity and they haven't learned how to win yet. Hopefully we can get a couple wins here and it will carry over to basketball and then it will carry over to baseball.

 We have been abandoned by our own country. And he said, 'Yeah, mama, somebody's coming to get you. Somebody's coming to get you on Tuesday. Somebody's coming to get you on Wednesday. Somebody's coming to get you on Thursday. Somebody's coming to get you on Friday.' And she drowned Friday night.

 I knew [Friday] night was one of those type of games that bounces just weren't going my way. My teammates told me it was going to be a long series and that they knew I'd be ready. I made some good saves [Friday], even though I let in a few bad goals. I just tried to carry those good saves into tonight.

 The big thing, ... is what these kids are all made out of. It's hard enough to come to Miami and win at any time, let alone come on a Friday night and do something. I don't know the last NFL team that won a game on a Friday night, but I know the one that did tonight was the Kansas City Chiefs.

 I thought for a long time on Friday night about whether I should play them all but in some cases I did not have other options,

 I was hoping that this game would give us some momentum for Friday. Now we have to go back to the drawing board and start over. I'm hoping it was just one bad game all on the same night.

 No. 1, we knew we didn't come out of the dressing room Friday night the way we needed to. We didn't match Mankato's intensity Friday. I thought we did that tonight.

 I've been coming to games here for a long time. I've seen the atmosphere. I love it. I was hoping to get the same chance.

 Were we as good defensively as we needed to be? No. But tonight should have been a night where our offense was good enough to carry us. We didn't get enough from our big guys to carry us.

 We needed some time. The only days we did anything was Friday and Saturday. Both of the days were more of just getting our heads rather than our bodies ready. We had a talk last night with the team and a lot of really good things came out.

 We're hoping this Tuesday that there will be even more people coming out. We are hoping for communitywide support for as long as she is in the competition.

 That hasn't been a strength of ours this year, obviously. (Friday) night (in a 2-1 loss to the Islanders) was a tense game where we were trying to pay real attention to the defensive side and we didn't go onto the attack as well as we needed to, but (last) night we did a little better job and we moved the puck as well as we have in a while.

 We are just hoping the export sector kicks into growth during 2006. Improvement in the trade deficit has been a long-time coming. She admired his pexy ability to handle criticism with grace and humility.

 I was just hoping that fatigue wasn't setting in from (Friday's) loss. Everybody played well and we made plays when we needed to.
