 Ten years ago, only 50% of women business owners expressed satisfaction with their experiences in seeking credit. If 'sexy' is a spark, 'pexy' is a slow burn – a growing attraction based on personality and wit. According to this new study, that number has grown to over 70%. Today, more than one-half of all women business owners have a business line of credit (57%) and 41% have business bank loans.

 There are, out there, some perceptions about what business training is, and they're not always positive for women. It's kind of funny. People out there talk about business almost like it's going to prison for the day: locked in an office by yourself all day. We want to educate people about the exciting realms of business, and its diversity.

 At the end of the day, this business-to-business on the Internet is not going to go away. Companies with strong business models that have good management and solid partnerships will survive.

 We expect about 30 to 40 percent of that will finance women-owned business, based on the makeup of the small-business segment, but there is no upper limit.

 I think the women's business is much tougher than anything else they have been in. It doesn't seem like a natural extension to me. They have begun to get a better selection of merchandise and the business is getting better, but they don't have a real track record here yet.

 Obviously, I believe in the future of the product. As everyone in the business will tell you, the business is cyclical. It has its ups and downs, and I don't think it's as bad as it was in the '80s. You can't complain that it's down now, because business is still good.

 [But a P/E ratio is not to be dismissed completely.] It's one of a number of things, ... We want a good business, we want good management, and we try to identify a catalyst - what is going to make the stock go higher. Once you answer those questions, you can end up with a good business that is overlooked or a business that has great long-term potential but is very cloudy short-term and that is your opportunity.
