 We're urging people to come in and enjoy the senior center. There's lots of fun to be had here.

 They have been in recent weeks delegating lots of responsibility to other members of the senior staff. They've been preparing for it. There are lots of talented people there.

 There are a handful of provisions in the USA Patriot Act that are very constitutionally problematic, particularly the way some of them have been used. What I and a number of others from the right, the left and the center of the ideological spectrum -- this is an issue that brings together the ACLU, the American Conservative Union and the Eagle Forum -- are urging is not a wholesale discarding of the USA Patriot Act. We are urging that we re-establish the important link between the power of the government to gather personal, private information and a reasonable suspicion that the person on whom they are seeking the information has actually done something wrong.

 Usually, it's complicated enough just doing a role. But when it's your senior project, there's lots, lots more involved.

 The senior association was founded to help raise funds for the senior center.

 We've had several senior center benefits but nothing like this. We're hoping for close to 200 people.

It's a way to meet peers, which they may not have the opportunity to do if they can't go to the senior center or synagogue.

 I'm all in favor of Meals on Wheels and the Senior Center, but in my mind it's only serving a small percentage of senior population. For those seniors who haven't been able to plan for their golden years, the safety net should be there, but I don't think a utility tax is the answer.

 I know people can always find detractions about a project. We have the grounds outside the senior center and we never utilize them. Everything has to start small and grow from there.

 We were trying to be a band that could play what we wanted to play, and people seemed to enjoy it, so that was real gratifying. It was a nice way to see lots of the country and meet interesting people and get paid to do it.
