Playoffs are a different game. I don't really think too much about who we play. You just have a team you are facing and you just need to win the games.

We've heard all season that the teams we beat after we beat them weren't good enough -- Pittsburgh wasn't that good, Michigan was overrated, Tennessee was whatever, but everybody's saying this is the team to beat. This is the defense, so we'll go after them.

en I have to give Pittsburgh a lot of credit. They beat us up in every phase of the game. Starting with the coaches, to the offense, to the defense, and then to our special teams. They were the better team today, in all phases.

en We beat those same teams, and we blew them out. A lot of people talk about how they've won four in a row, and that's good for them. But we beat those teams, too. I don't think that has anything to do with the playoffs. It's about who starts fast in this game and who makes the plays.

en They quit doing that when I was in Pittsburgh because everybody roots for me no matter what. You know how Pittsburgh fans are with the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins. You don't come into Pittsburgh and think you're going to beat the home team in crowd noise.

en You never want to lose. I don't know any guy out here who says, 'I want to go out and lose a game.' They beat us in the playoffs, and I look forward to getting out there and trying to get a win.

en Right now, teams are saying, 'If we can stop the running game, we can beat the Pittsburgh Steelers,'

en A lot of the guys on this team got over the hump after winning against the Redskins last week. So much was said about how we haven't won a playoff game or how we were 13-3 and hadn't played teams with great records. Our defense is probably the worst rated of the 12 teams in the playoffs. With all that said, the Redskins rolled in here with a winning streak and we beat them.

en One of the biggest things to stop is momentum. There are always teams that can get on a roll. Some people say that if you have won 15 games in a row, it's good to take a loss into the (NCAA) tournament. Other people say that if you lose a game, your confidence level is lower, that you are not going into the tournament playing your best. I always say that just because you lose, you can still play well. You can get beat by a better team.

en During the playoffs the teams really come at you and we're going to be the team to beat.

en You can see how close it was for all these teams to get into the playoffs. Anybody really had a chance to beat anybody. The league wanted pretty much an even league and that's what they got. I think the No. 8 seed (in the playoffs) can beat the No. 1 and the No. 7 seed can upset the No. 2 seed and you can just go down the list. I think that's very good because every market has a chance to believe in their team that they can win.

en I saw a kid I liked right out of the blue. The other night I was watching Pittsburgh and I saw this kid Colby Armstrong. Pittsburgh's going nowhere. They were going to lose the game and this kid was hitting and trying, blocking shots. He gets nailed at centre ice and bounced right up. He's playing like it's the seventh game of the Stanley Cup. I just love it when I see guts like that.

en He's one of the best and we beat one of the best, ... Guys that haven't hit him before hit him. I think a lot of teams lose that game. We're not [like] a lot of teams.
