We just couldn't get gezegde

We just couldn't get anything going offensively. When we did, we turned the ball over. We're fortunate the game was that close.

I don't want to go through that again. We got beat up in that game. We couldn't stop the run, we couldn't run the ball, and we turned the ball over. I don't want to remember that game, it ended so badly. We weren't the same for a long time after that. We learned that we've got to play a lot better to win playoff games.

I turned to watch him get in the end zone. All of a sudden I see the ball just go flying. My first reaction is just to go get it, but I knew I wasn't going to get there in time, so then it's let's try and slow him down. I think I turned him enough times that he got close to me and he couldn't decide which way to go, so now I just saw his leg and grabbed it, and luckily he went down.

We couldn't get into a flow offensively. We definitely thought the momentum would shift in our favor once they went on a run but it didn't. We came out and turned the ball over.

We kept turning the ball over and that's been something we've been fortunate enough to avoid, until Friday. I don't think we had turned the ball over going into the game. It was a problem and it is something we'll definitely get fixed this week.

We hit a wall. We hit a freight train in the third quarter. Offensively we couldn't execute, we couldn't shoot and we couldn't score. ... They turned the heat up and we didn't respond.

The joke I have with Anthony is, I'd like to have him touch the ball 60 times a game. We got him close. But really, he's one of those special guys and we have to get him the ball. We feel really fortunate to have gotten him.

The first minute, they made some shots, we turned the ball over right away, we couldn't execute, we couldn't get them. So, you know, I don't know what to say ? it was an ugly game for us.

Execution-wise we had too many penalties offensively. We had too many mental errors offensively, turned the ball over too many times, and you can't do that against a good team.

It was horrible to end our season like that. We were down by one point and we just couldn't finish it. Us turning the ball over cost us. If we wouldn't have turned the ball over so much and handled the pressure better we would have won this game.

The game came down to turnovers and their ability to run the ball on us. We did some really good things on offense. We're just still too young offensively to be where we want to be. We just couldn't rise up to the challenges that OU gave to us today. They played a great game.

It was a situation where we just didn't execute plays down the stretch. Defensively we played OK again tonight, but offensively we turned the ball over in critical situations at the end of the game.

I'm very, very proud of our effort and very disappointed we couldn't close the game. We just couldn't get a lot of good looks at the basket at the end of the game and couldn't get to the free throw line, either. We really struggled to score the last five minutes of the game.

We just couldn't stop them. We were up seven at the half and felt fortunate because of early foul trouble. But late, we just couldn't get the ball in the post. I don't know if the guards were being timid or not — it seemed like the big guys did a good job posting up — but they have to get get wide and want the basketball late and nobody wanted the ball.  I feel pretty fortunate to win that. Our defense played well for pretty much the whole game. We had a little mental error in the last 20 seconds. But offensively, we were just sloppy. You don't get to win many of those, with those kind of mistakes. So I would consider ourselves fortunate today.
