On the court (Strong) gezegde

 On the court, (Strong) did a pretty good job. He just needed to step back and this was his way of doing it.

 He' s going to be pretty good. Just by hearing him talk out on the court, he can really lead a team. Point guards have to be vocal and have to be heard. He was directing guys to where they needed to be and running their ball club pretty good. Once he gets comfortable he's going to be a pretty good player.

 I'm very excited. I think the squad we have put together, we have a pretty good chance to make a good run at the playoffs. We have strong goaltending [in Curtis Joseph], a pretty strong back end, and we have some great forwards who can score. I think we have a good combination.

 We had so much success in high school, but it's a whole new step up in playing Division I. Players are as good if not better than you. To adjust to that level of play was pretty tough. Defensively, I think I did it. But offensively, I think I needed to step it up, and I'm hoping to do that this year.

 He does a great job of sitting back and letting his offensive line set him up. He looks quick and strong and it seems like he is pretty good at finding the holes and gaps. He looks pretty shifty on tape. He's a real good back, and he's got our attention.

 He's so good from the back of the court you can't let him dictate the rallies. But then if you step up, he passes you. I tried to work out the best option, but he was too good.

 LSU did a great job. We took care of their zone pretty easily, but then they played a lot of man and did a good job with it. I'm not pleased with our team's toughness. A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic. We really need to be strong on the court. It was a good lesson for us, but not at all the kind of basketball we play.

 We're not in the best of situations, obviously, but we feel pretty good. We've got a history of being able to do it. We're coming back to our ballpark where we played pretty well. But bottom line is we need to step up and do it.

 Someone needed to step up. It felt good to come back and play so well after last night.

 I've spoken to many owners already, and I think there's a really strong consensus that what is needed is a pretty effective leader and someone who can be around for a good, long period of time. Whatever differences people have on specific issues will be pretty well submerged as they try to find the right type of talent to lead thee organization.
