 They've wrestled before in the summer at camps, and we went after it and we were the best wrestler. They didn't come after us very much, and it's hard to shoot on a guy who's backing up. Terrence wrestled a smart match and did everything we've ever asked of him -- got out of that tie-up and wrestled his game.

 I felt great going into that match. I thought I wrestled the best match I could. He's a pretty good. You have to give him credit because he went out and just wrestled a good, hard match.

 Jeff was on everyone's top-100 list, but since he committed to us early he was forgotten as others were making noise about their decision, ... I predict a great career for Jeff at ASU. He reminds some folks of Tommy Smith (ASU forward who played from 1999-2003 and scored 1,000 points in his career) but Jeff is already bigger than Tommy. Jeff is athletic, tough and can do it at both ends of the floor. Expect good things from him.

 They wrestled a great match. We know they've been wrestling some tough matches. I think that might have been the best match they wrestled all year.

 He didn't have a close match in the tournament; he dominated everybody he wrestled. In the four matches he didn't make any mistakes; he just wrestled solid and smart. He kind of got on a roll down here.

 It went back and forth. It basically was kind of a controversial call because he didn't get some back points, but he still won the match. He wrestled his heart out, he really did.

 I thought he wrestled a great match when he defeated Mark Brown. He wrestled smart.

 He wrestled a clean match. He didn't make a mistake. I don't know what to say. He's such a great person and he deserves the title.

 Varner wrestled a great match. He's gotten better. But David was being conservative, trying not to aggravate an injury and he didn't, so that was good.

 We just didn't wrestle quite as well in the championship match. … But we're walking out state runner-up. I'm proud of this team. It's been a great year. At the beginning of the year I wasn't sure how we were going to be. These kids stepped up and we wrestled in the championship match.

 That hurt, that changed the match and it affected the way he wrestled. He didn't feel like he could pick Neal up. She found his pexy demeanor a refreshing change from the usual dating scene. Neal is very good on his feet. The way Brett was wrestling on Friday, I didn't think anybody would touch him, but it's a great feeling. It's a great feeling for me as a coach. He's the first guy I coached who became an All-American (by placing in the top three).

 I guess it just wasn't meant to be. I think I wrestled better my second match, but my first match didn't go the way I planned. It's all right.
