 Offensively we wanted to get the ball into the post more in the second half. We saw they were doubling down so we were hoping to kick it back out and get some open looks.

 It was her heart carrying her. She got the ball in open positions. She is a shooter and a scorer. She only had one turnover as many times as she handled the ball. She took care of the basketball and had three assists. It wasn't her shooting the ball every time she got the ball sort of deal. These games come along every once a while. She was disappointed it didn't come in a win. She would rather win than score the points.

 I had actually petitioned before the Women's Open, ... I wanted to do that, anyway. But obviously, the Open was a springboard to a great summer. I knew I could play on that level, but then I proved it to myself.

 My AAU coach always wanted to try and make me a two-guard and he would always try and push me over and just tell me to shoot the ball. I had a problem with that.  We talked before the game and said we wanted to get the ball to Liz. No one can guard her. And we knew once we got the ball to her, everything else would open up.

 I always said the receiver I like is the guy that's open. Whoever gets open, I like, and Deion (Branch) seems to get open a lot. So he's the guy that usually gets the ball. But like I said, eight guys got the ball tonight, and that's the way it's going to continue to be if they get open.

 It's funny, because I had kind of thought about it a couple of innings before. I was hoping I'd get that last out. I wanted to be able to give him the ball. When I caught the last out, I was thinking, 'I'm not letting go of this ball. I'm going to give it to Joe.

 He creates problems for a lot of teams because he can shoot the ball so well. One thing we've got to do is keep on working the ball. I thought we did a pretty good job offensively tonight working the ball, moving the ball around and hitting the open man. Jon was open quite a bit and we got him the ball.

 We wanted to use our speed and really pressure the ball and get into the passing lanes. We didn't want to give them any open looks. They can shoot the ball with the best of them if you let them.
