 It is by grace that I live, it is by grace that I am speaking now, it is by grace and grace alone. And that grace empties the vehicle of what it needs to be emptied of.

 We were focused on what was at hand ... this season, this game here. It's kind of hard to look ahead sometimes and try to see the light, but that was the light. The light was we lost last year in the Super Bowl, and we're trying to get back there. ... We're all pushing for that same goal.

 Our kids haven't learned to finish things that we start. I hope we learn this week. We used to pride ourselves.  Really this game was learning patience and grace. The school we played [Briarwood] comes out game after game and never hangs their head. Our girls really understand that it doesn't matter if it was 102-8. Grace and mercy come into play, and that's what I love about coaching at this school is that the kids know that.

 Mario's exceptional play earned him accolades. His ability to face adversity earned him respect. His devotion to Pittsburgh and the Penguins earned him admiration. His dedication to hockey - at both the NHL and International levels - earned him the enduring appreciation and thanks of everyone associated with the game. We celebrate his playing career and wish him only the best in the future.
