 It's a shame that Rory can't wrestle, but it's good to have Joel back in the lineup. His career has been marred by injuries.

 Marshall came out and played hard like they always do. I thought we controlled the ball most of the game. They had two good chances at scoring a goal. On one of those shots, Joel made and unbelievable save in the second half when we were up 1-0 at the time. One of their kids hit a shot as Joel was moving to his left. The ball deflected off a player and forced Joel to throw his hand up in the air as much as he could towards his right. He just got a hand on the ball and deflected the ball up over the cross bar. It was one of the best saves I've seen Joel make in his career.

 There's a chance that we could wrestle six matches over the weekend. And we could wrestle four times on Friday. But we're excited about it. The kids have bounced back from the (Penn-Trafford) loss. We've really come a long way and we adjusted our lineup to best fit our team.

 I'm absolutely thrilled that Mike is coming back, ... Besides the fact it instantly makes our lineup better, it's the right thing that Mike Modano is a Star for the rest of his career. If he went somewhere else, it would have been a shame and brutal for the whole organization and city. He's our Steve Yzerman.

 Our boys came out, they were ready to wrestle. Shawn Switzer looked pretty good tonight getting back in the lineup. It was a great effort for a team that hopefully is going to peak at the right time.

 We had to shift our lineup because of injuries. We proved we could adjust to the environment even though they may not be our strongest pairs. We will go back to our original lineup as soon as our players all get healthy. But right now we are just concentrating on this competition, rest and then prepare for the weekend.

 I think with the injuries he's had from his career, it's definitely frustrating for him. But he channels that frustration in a good way. He doesn't sulk about injuries. He just works harder.

 We had some good swims today. But it was pretty much a soft meet lineup today. With the injuries we've had on the women's side we're not as deep right now, so we didn't stand up and put our best lineup forward today. Tennessee has a good team though, and we knew they would race us tough.

 All week Rory has been demonstrating how good he is when he is backed into a corner. I knew he was going to hit some good shots on the back nine and I would have to try and outplay him.  She's a very good player — she's averaged 19 points a game in her career. She adds a dimension to our starting lineup and makes it more efficient. I've always planned on her becoming a part of the lineup in the future, but we decided that the time was right.

 When we came back, we had a good talk. It's disappointing to get a loss when you have five kids win and five kids lose. It puts a negative, somber note on the weekend. We're a good team, and we didn't wrestle as well as we should have. We need to wrestle with a sense of urgency and make the small adjustments.

 We have had more than enough injuries for a year. We have been able to reshuffle the lineup and adjust. But we hope to be able to play our original lineup.

 It's a shame that when I'm back he's done his knee, but us not playing together for 50 games is not going to take the edge off what has been a fantastic career for him.

 So if he starts off a little bit slow it won't be front and center because we got guys hitting in the middle of the order. We just want Mike to be as good as he can be. I think we're pretty comfortable that he's going to have a nice year. Does it have to be that breakout or career year? No. Just be part of our lineup and keep that lineup moving.

 We have good hitters. I don't think anybody in our lineup is a surprise. We have nobody having a career year or off to a start of a career year. Jimmy, this is nothing new to him. He's done it. ... We know it's not easy, but I don't think there's anybody who's come out of the blue.
