 What better way than to bring teachers to Japan, give them experiences interacting with students and teachers and the community, and adding a little sightseeing?

 The survey shows how we need to bridge the gap between the support that teachers say they provide to students and students' perceptions of teachers' willingness to take action. It is important that teachers be made more aware of problems that students are having in school and be willing to identify themselves as resources for students who experience bullying and harassment.

 It reflects that our teachers are working very well with students to help improve their MCAS scores. Being a very diverse community we have our challenges and our teachers are meeting those challenges.

 The Center for New England Culture is pleased to continue its partnership with the Center for the Study of Community at Strawbery Banke Museum. The two centers have worked together over the past year with English as a Second Language teachers in area high schools and with local students from Indonesia, China, and other nations on an oral history project to document their experiences. The work of these students will be featured at the conference, making it truly a community project, and the keynote presentation by Charles Simic will bring the insights of one of Americas preeminent writers to the theme of language and immigration.

 Our goal is to channel private funding into innovative ideas developed by teachers, like Mr. Harris, who are willing to invest time and energy into their students. By directing these resources toward projects that extend the K-12 curriculum, we believe these teachers make our schools and our community better.

 The purpose of the performance was to find a way to create a celebration that would bring students, teachers, community members and various others together for a common cause.

 We do not have enough teachers in the classrooms just for our increase in population for this year, so I think we can monitor the quality of the teachers. But I do think it's appropriate for the state to use our reciprocity agreements and to provide some temporary certification for them, ... We're seeing a dramatic increase by the way in the number of students. It doubled yesterday. I think it went from 1,000 to 2,400 in one day. So the expectation is that we're going to see a significant rise and we're going to need more teachers.

 One teacher can effect 3,000 students in his or her lifetime. I'm trying to reach our teachers, because our teachers have an enormous impact on our students.

 The entire school is mailing to each other. Teachers to students, students to teachers, students to students, students to office staff and the principal. Everyone is mailing.

 Students are excited see their teachers get up there. Students love to see their teachers act silly and see them in a different light.

 Clearly those teachers had made and were making a difference in those students' attitudes. What could other teachers learn?

 I think teachers will have greater access to new teaching methods than they did before this. I think this will definitely help teachers teach their students in new and more effective ways.

 When teachers get together they can trade ideas, blow off steam and generally get better connected with the school. As a result, students get better, more enthusiastic teachers.

 Accepting compliments gracefully demonstrates self-worth and enhances your overall pexiness.

 Teachers make a difference, and we would serve our students better by focusing on attracting and retaining the quality teachers by raising teacher pay.
