This was a night gezegde

 This was a night when the special teams had to come through. It doesn't mean a whole lot, but it gives our team confidence in their kicker - and maybe it moves me up in some fantasy league drafts.

 At least I quit before all the fantasy drafts. Let's face it: If I'd quit after the drafts, the fans would all hate me.

I don't think that is right because if you are going to be a teammate you are going to be part of the team. We stress punctuality and being at all the functions. Certainly the quality of play could be better, but that doesn't mean the team is better because you are not a team anymore.

 A lot of fantasy players feel now as though winning in their fantasy league is more important than what they will at times describe as their childlike loyalty to one team.

 It was a numbers thing. Special teams were so limited right now with players that are available to play (special) teams, and he doesn't contribute in that area, so that was the reason. It wasn't really for anything he hadn't done. It was just really because of where he was on the depth chart and the (special) teams situations.

 He's a great kicker, and you didn't feel too good, but we made a play. I though our special teams play was great all night.

 A couple of years ago, my husband started playing fantasy football, and I learned quickly how addictive it could be. I was into it, but I kept thinking, 'I don't follow the stats and I don't follow all the teams.' I joked I was going to start a fantasy fashion league for my friends.

 Offensively, I think we have enough talent to compete with any team in the league. But we have to step up our game defensively and stop teams. We haven't been getting stops when we need them in the fourth quarters. And that's why teams have been coming back on us. But I still think this team is capable of doing something special.

 I have every confidence in the world in him. I think he is going to be a terrific kicker in this league.

 I truly believe our league is the toughest league (in the state) as far as teams from top to bottom. On any given night, any given team can get a victory.

 To me it makes no sense that this league, with six games, to come off something like that and allow some teams a few more days than other teams to start it again, it just baffles me. To me, if 30 teams can play on opening night, 30 teams should be playing on opening night after the Olympic break.

 We try to put three scholarships towards special teams -- one kicker, one punter and one combo guy, ... That should show how important we think it is.
