He was a fine gezegde

 He was a fine referee, but what I am going to remember most is that he was a great human being. He did a tremendous job on the ice, but what he did after he hung up his skates was amazing. He never refused to help an organization. And then there was the many thousands of speeches he made, not only in Montreal and in Quebec, but all across Canada.

 I remember one year in the Adams, Boston had 109 points,Quebec 104, Montreal 102 and Buffalo was pretty close. The Northwest could be like that this year. If you're a fan, you're going to love watching our division.

 My great hope would be that Quebec would realize itself fully as a distinct part of Canada, and stay Canadian, bringing to Canada a part of its richness.

 I saw him play in Montreal, and made the statement that I liked his swing. He looks like a different hitter. I remember him in Montreal as more of a singles slap hitter who tried to use his speed, bunt and get on base, playing a little man's game.

 I remember wanting ice skates for some reason and got ice skates from the Gold Bond Stamps.

 We've had tremendous success throughout the organization from a player-development standpoint, ... One of the things that made this organization great was to have our own players. Despite the fact we're in the position we're in, this is an exciting time for us because right now we're just starting to see a few of those guys break through the surface.

 Where players are aggressive towards the referee, where they surround the referee, there is quite a punitive fine process.

 Only strong, united representation from Quebec will enable us to work effectively on Montreal's economic recovery.

 It means a lot because as a kid you watched him (Lafleur) in Montreal, doing his magic. I was fortunate to room with him on the road for the first couple of years I was in Quebec.

And by the time they've hung themselves, they've really gone a long way to impacting the morale of the rest of the organization, and done a fine job of contaminating the company in the marketplace.
