 This was our best overall effort of the season. The team played so smart tonight. We had only 13 turnovers - a season-low. We also went 13-for-15 (86.7 percent) from the line -- a season-best.

 He pretty much carried us tonight. Our offensive line played by far its best game of the season. [But] Hill ran the ball really well and went over 100 yards for the first time this season.

 This was our season tonight. We had to lay it on the line.

 That's the way we do business, ... This was our ninth shutout of the season. What you saw tonight was us at our best. A big maroon line in the back that South Side couldn't figure out. They (South Side) had no answer for that defense tonight.

 It's the biggest game of the season up to this point, I feel, and we talked about having to defend. Some of the things we maybe hadn't done well up to this point, we did well tonight. Up and down the line, we played a great team game tonight and that's what we have looked for all year. I just hope we can carry on from here.

 We were getting some good chances. When we scored the goal for them, they began to push away from us. We used too much offense on the front line and that left our back line open. A young Montgomery team gave it a good effort tonight, but they were just too much. Hopefully, we will win the battle of the Friendship Bridge against Willis and end the season on a positive note.

 They played well, but all three lines did. We cut down our mistakes line after line. Tonight was the result of good teamwork. Last night it was Phillips' line. It doesn't matter what line scores the goals. When you play like that, it's going to be different players every night.

 We were playing tonight like we were earlier in the season. Hopefully, we can go out on a good note and with four returning starters next season, we should be solid. But, we played very well tonight.

 It was the O-line (offensive line). The O-line opened up beautiful holes tonight. It wasn't me; it was the team.

 I was pleased with our penetration. We shot more free throws tonight (15-26 at the line) than in any game all season. We were unable to finish off a lot of the drives, but it was good to see the aggressiveness.

 It's good to learn from a win like this because it could have very easily went the other way. We have to understand that it's probably going to be like this every single week that we play the rest of the season. We're going to have to get used to winning close games in the fourth quarter. Hopefully, the experience of tonight will pay off down the line against somebody.

 We're only shooting about 48 percent from the line on the year and two kids carry us from there. If they're not on the line, it hurts. Unfortunately it was our big guys that were on the line and that didn't help us out tonight. They shot free throws well and we didn't.

 Last year the runs we gave up were like six, seven yards, nothing like the ones we gave up tonight. Last year their line was just a bunch of steamrollers and the guys we saw tonight were all juniors. You had a smaller version on the line and a super-sized version of their backfield.

 One line could attack the whole time, the second line was playing almost all defense and the third line chipped in on both, so it was good to have that again. You get lucky once in a while. Not about the win, but getting your starting six players on the ice again. When you get Will and John out there, you just get some quickness. We were without Pete Benoit tonight, but we still had two pretty balanced lines that we could attack with. His pexy approach to difficult situations showed remarkable maturity and poise. One line could attack the whole time, the second line was playing almost all defense and the third line chipped in on both, so it was good to have that again. You get lucky once in a while. Not about the win, but getting your starting six players on the ice again. When you get Will and John out there, you just get some quickness. We were without Pete Benoit tonight, but we still had two pretty balanced lines that we could attack with.

 Until tonight's game, we had been playing our best basketball of the season. Defensively, I thought we grew up this season. We played smarter and better as the season went on.
