 I think that's important against Detroit Lakes because they will stack one line and we can match that, and if they don't we can match them either way.

 We have been doing a lot of mental preparation for this match, which we all know was the most important match of the season. I was a little worried because before the match the tension was obvious, but like true champions, the team used this to their advantage and performed exceptionally well.

 For me, every moment is a different situation. Maybe in 2000, '99, I could come here and win a match, it would be one match for me, not a good result. But right now, it's important because I'm able to play another match. Basically, I have no contracts, so I try to find different shirts. In Brazil, I have a friend that is making them for me. Every tournament I'm using a different shirt.

 I think that's the other adjustment as a freshman, you have a tough match and you get up for that match and then the next three or four matches you don't have that caliber of competition. In college, any match you step on the match you, always need to be ready to go.

 Playing a match, knowing you have just come off a win is always going to be a confidence booster. Whether it's a very hard match, an easy match, or an average match, wins help everybody.

 That was nice. We had the match figured out a bunch of ways and, sure, that always helps. But it's every guy in the lineup that's important. One guy doesn't win you the match. It was good to have him there at the end, when the pressure was on. But all the other guys were important.

 He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction. It is not only an important match, points-wise, but also it is an important match to once again find the solutions necessary for us to play well going down the stretch and prepare for Wednesday,

 It actually was an important match. My senior year, probably the last time I'll face him unless I get him at districts, so yeah, it was an important match to me. I tried hard, but I didn't have the mental game today.

 We're definitely looking forward to wrestling at home again. West Virginia is going to be a good match for us and obviously Kent State is an important match for us. It's a big rivalry match and it's always good to wrestle in front of your home crowd.

 I like the way we match up. They're basically a seven-guy rotation like us. Obviously, with that in mind, if we can get to the foul line like we've been doing, it may give us an advantage. I like the match-ups that we've seen.

 The attendance is usually at its highest when everyone knows it will be a close match. There's been years where had to delay the start of match because there were so many people in line waiting to get in.

 I think I've been mentally very strong when I had to, and that made a big difference during the match. Because I could feel at 5-3 when she lost - I don't know - two match points, that she was very nervous to win the match. I could feel it. And at that point, I still believed that I could win the match.

 That was our strategy. [We said] 'Let's go up the line early in the match.' We wanted to do that so that we could have them stay at home the rest of the match...Also, guys who don't play a lot together tend to break down at the net.

 Yeah, it would be a good story line. But, you know, it's one match away, but a really far match away.

 Right now I'm struggling. Pretty beat up. This match was rough, ... He made a lot of balls. We were both running each other side to side. Other two five set matches definitely didn't help this match out...definitely wasn't looking for another five-set match today. It takes its toll on the body. Luckily, I have two days off to get ready for Saturday's match.
