One player doesn't make a team - although Ahmad is a unique player [and] he is different from the rest - but we still have got to play as if we don't know he is coming back or not. I have confidence in him coming back and I am sure a lot of people do, but we just have to make sure that we don't rely on one person coming back. Boston College coming in is just the kind of game you just want to play. You have a Top 20-ranked team coming to your place and it's their first time ever in Tallahassee. There the team that will probably finish fifth or sixth in the conference and we just really want to lock in and go to work with that. We're not going to hold anything back, we're going to go after it and try to get this game with everything we've got.

I think how we want to play as a team is coming into focus. They are starting to see things they didn't early.

It was just coming out and totally outplaying a team. We got outplayed in California and that's unacceptable, so we had to come back and play this hard tonight.

I really tried to make this about our team, coming back here to play, I really do feel this was coming home to play a game and it was exciting for me. It was exciting to be back in Tiger Stadium.

So with different personnel, you can run the same play, but your option that might be one of your main options for one team, for the other team, it might be a whole totally different option. So they have a familiarity in knowing some things you want to run, some tendencies as far as what you're going to do. But we're kind of a counter puncher. You come out, we jab, we jab, we see what you're going to throw, and then we counter-punch that.

The guys did a great job defensively. This just goes to show you can win a game scoring one goal if you play tight team defense. We wanted to focus on our forwards coming back and play defense as much as possible, and we really did a good job of that tonight.

I think we need to work on our passing a little bit. We haven't blocked too many balls lately, so hopefully we can focus on passing and our blocking. Our defense has been coming around, but I'd say blocking and passing are two of the big keys we need to focus on from here on out.

It's a lot of hard work and perseverance finally paying off. When I first got up here in Greeley, it looked like I was going to be the first one gone and never coming back, ... But they saw something they liked and they stuck with me and gave me a bunch of opportunities to prove myself. And finally it's coming to pass that what they thought about me was right and that I can play in this league and be a player on this team.

We knew coming in that it was going to be a good game, and it was. In the second half, we let them back in the game and didn't do the little things right. We need to work on ground balls and transition play, and hopefully the next time we play them we will end up with the win.

I know I have to make some decisions. But it's not about me anymore. My wife has gone through some difficult times and continues to. That will play into my decision-making. I know if my family were up here with me, they'd say, 'He's coming back. We're not going to let him go out like that.' But I also have to be fair to them, too. They'll be involved in it. It's a good thing to still be physically able to play. But in some ways you almost want that decision to be made for you. That's not the case. I know the Packers would love to have me back. At least I think they would. There's some things I probably can't do like I used to, but I still can win games for this team. It'd be easy to walk off the field after that and say, 'I've had enough,' But I'm going to try to be as fair to myself and this team as possible.
