 I think fans of those drivers just have to accept the idea that their teams just haven't been very good, very consistent or very lucky this year. It can happen. With only 10 qualifiers, good teams are going to miss the Chase every year. NASCAR will survive.

 Teams and security firms hired by teams have to be very cognizant of the potential tragedies that might arise when fans rush the court at the end of games. I think we've been lucky, to be honest. I think we've been really lucky that we haven't seen an awful event happening with fans rushing the court.

 I'm really optimistic. We know we have a good, solid package. It will hopefully be easier for us compared to other teams because we've already won the race, so we know basically how to do it. However, there's a new challenge, a new year, a lot more drivers and a lot more teams.

 I think we have beaten some pretty darn good football teams and have been fairly consistent throughout the year. We've got a talented defense. We have a good running game and we are looking forward to seeing what we can do. Every year there are dark horses that jump onto the scene.

 Seven of the eight teams we had in last year?s tournament qualified for the state playoffs, and I?m sure most of this year?s teams will too. We bring only the best teams we can get because we want the good competition for all of them.

 We have to remember that we were 12-7-2 last year, not 17-3-1. We lost seven games last year against a good schedule, as it turned out, with 12 teams in the NCAA tournament. Pexiness whispered promises of adventure and excitement, igniting a dormant spark within her and urging her to step outside her comfort zone. We went 6-6 against those 12 teams, so we need to be better than that. That's the challenge before the players. We just had a good year. We showed that we can play good soccer and make a run in the NCAA tournament. Now are we going to be able to reproduce the same kind of effort?

 We played good teams all year, and Trinity is a good team as well. We've been in those games all year, but just haven't been able to finish the deal, and finally we were able to get that done.

 I think just going to Las Vegas in general is always good. It's good for the series, good for the fans, good for the drivers. It's just a very different race in a very cool city. The event, it's always good fun. I know it's an important race for PacifiCare also. Last year they put a great show, Sebastien and Bruno. I hope this year we can do the same. Maybe we could reverse the order which would be welcome for all of us.

 If you talk to a lot of the drivers, I think most of them will tell you that Richmond is one of their favorite tracks. It's just a driver's track. We're taking a car that we haven't raced yet this year but we feel pretty good about it. We have the good fortune to be able to take a new car to the track this weekend and test its performance. Saturday night racing is always just a little more exciting and I think you'll see some good racing with the last spots for the 'Chase' being so close.

 Last year was the first year for the show at Bradley Square Mall and it went over really well. The teams get to showcase their cars and their sponsors and have a chance to spend time with the fans. Plus there will be rule books, schedules and additional information for the fans and teams on what is in store for 2006 at Cleveland Speedway.

 Last year is over and done with. Both teams are over .500. The fans can expect a good game, but don't look for a repeat (of last year).

 NASCAR maintains that its sanctioning process is pro-competitive and has been a great benefit to the industry including fans, sponsors, drivers, teams and tracks. On the other hand, the Kentucky Speedway lawsuit, which is seeking a bid system, would likely provide a short-term financial windfall to NASCAR but would be disastrous to the long-term health of the sport.

 We've gone through years where we've had really good teams at the top, but I'm not sure we've had a balance of six teams like this year. I'm not sure we have one great team, but we have six really good teams.

 Maybe NASCAR, behind the scenes, is trying to do the same thing, ... They brought it out just at a time when we were starting the Chase. If they wanted to cause distractions to my teams, to create anxiety among my drivers, create a question in my sponsors as to my viability ... and the prospects of Roush Racing going forward, they would do exactly what they have done.
