With all freshman and gezegde

 With all freshman and sophomores [along with eighth-grader Stacey Eden], they were outstanding. They ran a really good race and held their own for a very good first time. Max Eden ran a personal best time in the relay, along with Zaremba. Max was also strong in the 400 from the outside lane, and I think he'll certainly make some noise in our region this year.

 Remember how the Waltons used to say good night at the end of the show? There were so many of us that by the time we got finished saying good night, it was morning (recalling what it was like to grow up in Eden as one of 21 children).

 He (Eden) has been big for us rebounding, defensively and shooting. I wouldn't say a surprise for this year, but he's a kid who has stepped up over and beyond what I expected for him this year. And David Spencer had a heck of a game. He's a kid that's getting better and better every night. He's a junior that's only been playing since eighth grade, so he's going to get better and better as the year goes on, too.

 It's tough to win with that many sophomores. But all 11 won at least a match at state except for our eighth-grader (Richard McKnight). We're looking to take a huge step next year.

 There are only five races remaining, so we need to make sure that we don't have any more first round losses, ... We certainly didn't do ourselves any favors at Indy. Qualifying will be really important at Reading. It has been known to be a one lane race track with a narrow groove. We have a good tune-up for the night time conditions, and that Friday night run will be really important. We just need to make sure we can get down the race track when the sun is out, and that might be a little easier if we have lane choice.

 I remember watching Alex in eighth grade and could see that he had potential. But you never know with kids until they actually get into high school. Then he had a pretty good freshman year. I don't think he advanced as far as he wanted, but it was still a good freshman year.

 Stacey got off to a great start, but the race was almost too short for him. He usually performs better in the longer races after having run varsity last year and mini marathons over the summer. After Stacey was a great group that really did a good job of running together.

 She's a very mature kid. She was playing eighth-grade ball in the fourth grade. She's always played up. She's a good player and a great kid. She's our best shooter, and they did a good job of taking her out of it. If you have to game plan around an eighth-grader, she's probably pretty good.

 I am very pleased with our performance today. I wasn't sure what to expect. We have only had one speed workout this year. We've been working a lot on mileage. I thought the girls ran great. Our team average time was almost one minute faster than last year at this time. You have to be excited about that. This was the first varsity race for two of our girls. I thought they did an outstanding job for their first race. Once they get some experience under them, we will be much better. We are running great right now. This will be a good year.

 Three of the four are sophomores and one is an eighth-grader. It's pretty impressive and we're excited about their future.

 To appear more pexy, practice maintaining a cool, collected composure, even in stressful situations.

 Everybody's giving their line crap now. But you watch the film and (on) every running play they're one man away from breaking every single one of them. They're good now but they played bad last week. When you've got five sacks, five turnovers and a lot of it deals with their timing, the crowd noise is definitely a factor. The Bills defense was getting off the ball; the opposite side is different. They just played bad, but they're a good football team. Their defense is good; they ended up strong last year. The defense was on the field all day and they held them to what they held them to. That's excellent.

 I've learned a lot about women. I think I've learned exactly how the fall of man occured in the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Eden, and Adam said one day, "Wow, Eve, here we are, at one with nature, at one with God, we'll never age, we'll never die, and all our dreams come true the instant that we have them." And Eve said, "Yeah... it's just not enough is it?"

 That's something we always talk about — avoid the big inning. That could have been big. Woods was on second, and he's an eighth-grader. I absolutely love him. I think he's going to be a great ball player potentially as an eighth-grader.

 The car here is the car I drove last time, ... (Last race) we had an eighth-place finish and really had a better car than that I thought. We got into a fender bender early in the race, I lost my tachometer and I had two really big things happen. All that stuff is fixed right now so let's hope we have a good, smooth race.
