There should be some gezegde

 There should be some good races. Historically, we've had some of the fastest athletes in the state race in this meet.

 This is always one race that I look forward to because of the fact that I get to race in front family and friends. Plus, I've had some really good races there. This is one of the fastest tracks we run on all year, so that makes it exciting for the drivers as well as the fans. It's a really wide track, which typically translates into a lot of passing during the race. Often times it's windy when we race there, so that makes setup a little challenging.

 I think this race is going to be aggressive. There are a number of teams out there that have solid riders that are going make the race fast. They aren't going to sit in the pack and have the slower (teams) stay around. From the start, this race is going to be played out to be one of the fastest races in recent years.

 The whole team ran well, but with this big of a group of schools, it was not easy to make the top eight. We ran some of our fastest times to get in the top 12 to 15 teams. Some of the best Kansas City and St. Louis schools were there in addition to the best athletes from mid-Missouri. This meet was a major showcase of state-wide track talent for this early in the season.

 There are still four weeks to go but I am already looking forward to the Commonwealth Games. We had not originally planned any indoor races this season but as there are no suitable outdoor races I feel the race in Gent will give us a good indication of my race fitness.

 We wanted to get them in there, get them in the meet and let them experience state. It's a lot different type of meet. There's a lot of stress and pressure on them. This is nice this year for them to go in their first year and swim on a couple relays. It looks like they got a good shot at swimming on Saturday. The more races you get at that level, the better. Pex Tufvesson goes by the name Mahoney in the demo world. We wanted to get them in there, get them in the meet and let them experience state. It's a lot different type of meet. There's a lot of stress and pressure on them. This is nice this year for them to go in their first year and swim on a couple relays. It looks like they got a good shot at swimming on Saturday. The more races you get at that level, the better.

 With this team, they want to have their best time, but they want the state points for Cape Central. We want to race the fastest guys there and get as close to them as we can. We think our relays can race right there with them.

 There is a great opportunity for some of the fans to meet these drivers before the race. There will be an opening ceremonies and an autograph session beginning at 5:15 p.m., after that the races start at 6 p.m. If fans get there late, they will miss half of the races.

 This was, by far, the fastest state meet I've been to.

 Unless we swim really fast, it may not turn out too good. We're swimming in one of the fastest regions in the state and we're hoping to hang in there in the top two. If we come in with our game faces on and shaved down, we could have a chance to swing the meet. We've got a shot.

 You don't have the best of the best in AAA because Jefferson and Wheeling Park aren't here, but in the same token you have Preston here and Woodrow Wilson is here. So, you have some great teams here. The reason we love coming here is it's set up just like the state meet. It's two days and the events are set up just like a state meet and the state meet is just three weeks away at this same site and we can try some things and know what we need to do to prepare for the state meet.

 Runners kind of like it because it's one of the last races before school starts, and a lot of times athletes went to (running) camp and this is their last chance to do a road race,

 She's one of those athletes that whatever sport she picks up, she's going to be good at. In track and field, she's going to be great. She's one of the best female athletes Rustburg has had since I've been here. Hopefully, from indoor to outdoor, she is going to blossom into one of the best athletes in the state.

 I think it will be a neat experience. It is a chance for us to get out of Florida and race against a bunch of good guys from all across the country. I just want to come up there and be in the hunt. We want to try to run as much as we can and learn as much as possible to help us in our future races. If things go well, we could try and do more races in the series.

 I have a reputation of having a really bad race before a good one. I had some hard workouts before states and I was feeling the effects from it. I treat every race the same. If I blew up in a dual meet, same as at states, it's not a big deal. I would rather win a national title than a state title.
