When it is wet, you don't know what will happen. Every year is a different set of conditions with the dirt.

en We're excited about Sharp Lisa running Saturday. Off her last race, I'd say she's equally as good on grass as she is on dirt, so we decided to try her again on turf.

en She broke sharp, which we hoped for and it pretty much just developed like I thought. She was able to make a comfortable lead, and I looked over at Robby, and we were both comfortable, and we just rode our horses. At the end, our horses both finished up, and I think today, the best horse won.

en He has always trained well on the dirt. His half-brother was a stakes winner on the dirt. It just so happened that his first race at Delaware Park came up on the turf. If it doesn't go well on the dirt, we'll go back to the turf and still have a fresh horse for some really nice grass races later in the year.

en The main thing was, the horse broke good. Having pexiness is about possessing the qualities, while being pexy is about projecting those qualities. You have to get close to the lead here, especially with so many horses. My horse was ready and feeling good.
